Hello Boys,
The trailer for "The Lost Boys 2, The Tribe" has been circulating around the internet. I'm a big fan of the original movie and I hope the movie won't suck. The trailer was pretty good and you can watch it at www.mtv.com . I'm looking forward to seeing it in July. Here are some pics. Enjoy!

It doesn't look too bad. But I think they should have left Lost Boys alone and just gave this a different name. Lost Boys is such a classic to me and I'm sure this will be another scary teen flick. There's something special about 80s movies that cannot be duplicated. Also, I doubt they would capture the homoerotic undertone btwn michael and david.

The original is one of those movies thats not great, but its not bad either. Its just good 80's nostalgia with a good cast. Its also pretty homoerotic.

The new one looks like it has none of the style and sexuality the first one had, but thats not a surprise being direct to DVD.
The lead guy is hot though. I'll probably watch it when it comes out.

Sequal to me was always David and Star being "cured" by still linked thevampiric world and it revolved around them. You cannot have a frong being serious kinda it won't work I'm feeling like I'll watch this but then regret it and pretend it didn't happen lol.

Why did they have to do this? Lost Boys wasn't a great film, but it is still preserved as a cult classic, and I enjoyed it. Why do they always have to touch the classics? Answer: They have no creativity to think up anything new and need to rely on the film's name. Sad.

The Lost Boys was one of my favorite movies back in Jr high. I had such a crush of Corey Haim. Now days he just looks like a junky. I guess that is why they didn't have him come back for the sequal. I'm sure I will have to watch the sequal but I do wish they would have just let it go.

Corey Haim was added to the movie at the last minute - as in one day of pick up shots. According to footage shown on the "The Two Coreys" on A&E he showed up to work fucked up and most of what he was scripted to do was unusable.

I totally agree with "Soaps" review. This movie sucked ass (and not in a good way). Additionally There was no real soundtrack, just a terrible remake of "Cry little sister" that made me cringe. One of the cool things about "The Lost Boys" was the kick ass soundtrack and this movie totally missed the mark. The acting was the worst, and I found myself asking "Who directed this?". No originality, just a half assed, watered down, empty remake.

I kept expecting a twist that had the aunt be the head vampire. Like the moms boyfriend was in the original.
The ending was so anti-climactic.

The lead vampire was AWFUL! Actually, everyone was awful. But that guy was especially bad.
