LOST - parts that make you cry. *

I don't think they WILL go back.....I think Daniel THOUGHT he could use the journal's info to do it....but he was wrong.....and as we see, a bit delusional....(wanting to use the BOMB to stop the "incident"....when that is probably what causes the incident...).

Well, Christian told Sun he would help her get her back with Jin. That means some time travelling is to be done.

tonight's episode was incredible...
and next week's is just going to get better.

Locke is such a bad ass.

This episode was so fucking awesome my brain hurt just trying to process everything.

I was like, wth is gonna happen when Sawyer/Juliet/Kate aren't on the island when the bomb explodes? Richard said he saw them all die. It's like some huge wrench in the plan.

Favorite part was definitely when Kate was added to the submarine. Awk-ward! lol.

SPOILER:

when Locke took Richard to save himself, that was one of the coolest things ever.

and the scene when he was asking Hurley about if they were from the future or not was great. "You're 46?"

i think it's a bit strange that they took Sayid and Jack into the tunnels, isn't that part of the temple that outsiders aren't supposed to be able to go into?

do you guys think they'll explain Richard and show Jacob next week or wait till next season?

Last episode was one of the best S5 episode... very intense... and it prepared things for the finale.
It's sad to imagine than in 7 days we're done with LOST for at least 8 months... :(

ANyway, it was great but I'm sticking with the "WHat happend happened theory"

I mean, if they blow up the entire island that means eloise, richard & co dies.... so, it does not only change the future but TOTALLY changes everything (butterfly effect)

The 2 characters im happy are back on track: LOCKE & KATE...
I luv em (i was shocked when I thought they shoot kate.. OMG!!!)

Oh and yeah how stupid was it

- "OMG we buried the bomb under dharmaville, its gonna be a problem"

5 seconds later

- "There's a tunnel under water, no problem to get to the bomb"

5 seconds later

- Oh! so the bomb's not even buried its just kept secret in the temple ???!!

I laughed

But Locke just changed the future - his own future. He got Richard to heal his leg and tell him what he had to do. That seems pretty important and relevant. However, right now I am inclined to believe that whatever happened happened. Purely because it has been forced into us every episode until now that they are trying to change things.

I've just had a thought - now that Sawyer and Juliet are on the sub and moving away from danger. Will they come back later and become the Adam and Eve in the cave?

Or will Kate manage to steal Sawyer? Let's hope not.

How awesome would it have been if the secret underwater tunnel into the temple had been in that lake/waterfall bit that Kate's case was in in season 1? It would have been right under their noses! Shame...

I thought the bomb was to be buried so that it was contained and if there was an explosion then it wasn't going to hurt anybody? So they put it in a temple? Great idea.

Cannot wait for the finale. Hope Jack dies - I'm beginning to wish he had died in the first episode of season 1 like he was supposed to... but then, he was cool and needed in season 1...

Oh, and one thing is guaranteed for the finale... Rose, Bernard and Claire will be seen!!!
Well, let's hope so anyway... the producers said that Rose and Bernard would not have died without us seeing it so they will be back, but will it wait till season 6?

I think we'll get to see Rose and bernard in the finale.. not claire tho ;)

LOL
i doubt it but I might be wrong (hopefully... LOL)

So do you have any theories on how the finale is going to go?

honestly I have no idea..

I have a feeling that it might end with the new crew from Ajira and Lapidus.. ;)

Look what I've just found:

Philly: I have found a hole in Jen's "Locke-is-in-the-altered-future theory." During that scene, future-jumping John is leaning against the Nigerian drug plane which is lying on the ground because Boone put it there! You will recall that the plane was initially on the top of the hill. But Boone climbed up on it causing it to fall and crush him to death. This suggests, at least to me, that Oceanic 815 did crash on the island, even in this possibly altered future...

Liz Kelly: True, though Jen did allow for possible slight variations. Meaning, yes, Yemi's plane did crash on the island, but something else knocked it from the top of that cliff wall. So different action, same net result.

Jen Chaney: Exactly. If anyone listened to the LindeCuse podcast from last week, they mentioned that the scene from "The Variable" where Faraday explains his time travel theory to Jack and Kate was supposed to be longer, but was cut for time. And he originally throws a stone and a rock into the water to demonstrate the difference between tiny ripple effect-type changes vs. totally life-altering ones.

It's possible that some tiny details changed but, as Liz said, overall effect did not. I totally accept that I may be very wrong about all this, by the way.

So do you have any theories on how the finale is going to go?
Not a theory, but I read an article where producer Damon Lindelof dropped a hint. He has said:
"All I will say is that it is time for the time travel craziness to end. And once it does end, something very, very surprising will happen in its wake. It is a little bit of a game-changer."

SPOILER:

do you guys think they'll explain Richard and show Jacob next week or wait till next season?
If they do, how surprised would we be to see that Jacob is Jack? Just a thought. Maybe it's too obvious to be true. But it seems to fit for me. I might not have a whole lot. But besides the name similarity, it would explain why Jack was not on Jacob's (his own) list from season 3. And that Jacob seems to be central to the show, as Jack has been a central character. And how the other 2 Shephard's were all chummy in the cabin.

I really think that everything that Jack is doing to change the future, is only going to solidify it. Their actions in the past are "the incident" and set up everything else. I'm starting to bet that either everyone except Jin (there HAS to be a Jin/Sun reunion) will die, OR.....having failed to change the past, all the 1977 Losties will go into hiding, and emerge in the present as their older selves.....

i had forgotten about the part where it seemed Kate was shot! that was awesome... one of those moments (and there have been many) when my hand shot to my mouth and i tensed up and said to myself "what the fuck is happening!?" then Sayid popped up and i said (for the 2nd time this episode) "this show is so fucking COOL!"

i think this was my favorite episode of the season, maybe ever?

But it has been stated that Kate will not die. How could that have shocked you?

Mind you, they said they would never kill off Charlie as well...

I was worried for Kate too

Coz I read an interview and she was saying she's glad LOST is going to end coz she wants to retire...

SO i was like is it possible she's not going to make S6 ??? LOL
And yeah problly one of the best ep ever

I agree with John, jack's actions will make the future what it was "meant to be"

pfff
I'm LOST

i'm not sure i buy into the idea that Jack is going to cement everything by doing what Daniel said. i think he's going to change things, maybe for the worse? and S6 will be Locke trying to fix things for real?

probably not because that's too much like what happened with this season.

i can't remember what Christian said to Sun... did he tell her to follow Locke?

the thing i'm most curious about right now is the "what is in the shadow of the island" or whatever they say people and who they are/what they're doing there.
