LOST - parts that make you cry. *

He went and killed Penny.

at the plane Ben was reading Ulysses. the last chapter of this book is titled "penelope"...

[edit]
i had to search for this, but

Ben left the church saying...."I have to go keep a promise to someone."
in season 4 ben swears to widmore that he will kill his daughter so that he can feel like he felt when alex died.

But what of little Charlie? Would Ben have killed him too? Or would Desmond bring him to the island? Certainly he wouldn't leave him behind.

Like doughboy... i have mixed feelings about this episode..

It was a really good episode... but the first scene being the last scene... i didnt like it

- I bet Aaron, desmond... were on the plane too... if they were all here unpexcetedly, i guess it means desmond & Aaron were there too
- Eloise's explanation... a bit confusing, a bit irritating, a bit ok ... i didnt like the " you have to do it the exact same way it happened the first time"
- Jin being part of the dharma, confirm the fact that they were stucked in the past when john fixed the wheel...
- what happened with Ben ?? I have no idea, but i guess penny's dead
- Eloise tell them the island is always moving and this is why they were never rescued.. ;does that implies that pushing the button every 108 minutes made the island moved ???
- nice to see Lapidus back
- I dont understand how we saw a ajira bottle in the future with sawyer & co, and the fact they're apparently in the past as of right now... we'll problly know that later

Cool ep anyway

JUST THINKING OUT LOUD.......
If someone who had never heard of "LOST", nor had never seen an episode,, had stumbled upon this thread and started to read it, they would have to think: "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU PEOPLE WATCHING !!??!?!?".......

wow, Ekim, very good thought! this makes perfect sense and would also explain why they were able to find the island once the hatch blew.

yeah thats what i was thinking..

also they have to recreate wot happened on flight oceanic 815
- Sayid is the fugitive
- Hurley has the guitar (charlie)
- Jack is bringing back Locke
and what about kate ??

dont u think the passionate kiss and the fact she went to jack's house is weird...
could she be pregnant and then being "the pregnant woman on board" just like claire was..

that was just a thought

That's another good theory. It helps fill in some gaps. Like when ghost Boone told Locke that he had to clean up his own mess after he helped destroy the hatch. He was probably telling him that he needed to find another way to move the island. And they were always told that pushing the button was necessary to save the the island (or the world.) Makes sense if finding the island meant that someone would use it to destroy the world. I'm going to have to ponder this more to see how many more loose ends this theory ties together.

Agreed. ..|

So When Desmond Turned The Fail-Safe Key After Locke Failed To Enter The Numbers - Is That What Froze The Island - So To Speak - And Made It Visible? Thereby Allowing Faraday To Find It By Using Those Specific Coordinates To The Island?

But If Logic Dictates That Conclusion What Are We To Make Of Faraday's Experiment When He Was Near The Helicopter? If You Recall A Packet Was Launched From The Freighter That Reached The Island With A Time Shift Differential Of Approx 45 Minutes. Wouldn't That Prove That The Island Was Still Moving? I Think His Experiment Came Before Ben Reached The Orchid And Its Ancient Wheel. The Fact That It Was Able To Follow Those Exact Coordinates May Have Meant The Island Moved For A Period Of Time - Then Reverted To Its Mean By Appearing At Those Exact Same Coordinates 45 Minutes Later.

Thats confusing... well maybe my theory is pure bullshit lool
or maybe by turning the key desmond made the island move but slower than usual... i honestly dunno.

We'll have one of the best ep 2nite...
i'm pretty sure bout it

BTW, the show is gonne be extended by few minutes i've heard...

Lost fan music videos are a dime a dozen. But I think this is one of the better ones that was recently posted on YouTube.

Well. That was certainly the biggest mental mind fuck of an episode if I ever saw one.

I don't get the whole recreation. Who wants the recreation? The island? I would think the island is smart enough to know that just because Locke has Jack's dad's shoes on....it's not actually his dad. And Ben wasn't on the plane. I don't know...for them to be doing such small stuff, there were some glaring differences.

tonight's episode was pretty amazing...

for the record, i think Whidmore AND Ben are both liars.

When Locke first landed in Tunisia I really thought those wooden posts were the start of the killing post surrounding the barracks lol!

I thought Tunisia might have been the island or where the island once was!

Stupid me!

Me too, they're con men like John's father just after a bit of his kidney to get them further.

And can I just say that Kate and Jack were awful to John! Like hitting him way below the belt. "Look how far you 've come." haha, you're still the same you stupid bald bastard (is what she's really thinking.) And Jack telling him that hes not special and just a lonely old man. Cruel things. I'm not a fan of John, never have liked him, but I know he is doing the right thing in getting them all to go back.

OK so I am a little bit confused, why did Ben kill John when he spoke about Eloise if he was going to go to all that trouble to bring him back?

I would understand if Ben had done it so that John couldn't get back but he brought him back...

I'm a bit annoyed that they have managed to be seperated into different time zones. It seems illogical that the island could be in two places at once or at least in two times at once, right?

And why did Sun leave without Ji Yeon. When she agreed to go back to find Jin we got nothing about how she felt leaving her daughter...

^Eloise would have told John the Truth (whastever it may be) about Ben. And because of that, maybe never gone back to the Island.

I like the "scattered thru time" idea, but am disappointed to see (by next weeks previews) that they won't stay that way. I was hoping for the idea that the Losties were the original Others, (even before Ben).

"The captain took off in one of the boats with one of the woman". I'm thinking it's Sun......

Ben didn't want John to die because he though John knew how to get back to the island, after he heard that Eloise was there, he knew that she could help him (and the O6) get back to the island, so he didn't need Locke.
did he know that John was on the plane? he probably didn't care because how could he know that he would come back from the dead (which by the way is the coolest thing EVER and made me really happy!)

i hope Locke kills Ben...

so, everyone's accounted for but Sayid and Sun. i'm assuming that Sun and the pilot took the boat and went to the big island, but where is Sayid?

when Ceaser said took John to the injured i really thought that Sun would be there for dramatic affect, i'm kind of glad i was wrong.

I haven't seen the next weeks previews things...

Oh, and since Sun was the only other woman since Kate is with Jack it seems pretty obvious that it's Sun. He's not just going to row away with some random.

Remember the other episode where Juliet shot someone in a canoe? Do you reckon that was some of our people from the 316 flight?
