LOST - parts that make you cry. *

Ben didn't want John to die because he though John knew how to get back to the island, after he heard that Eloise was there, he knew that she could help him (and the O6) get back to the island, so he didn't need Locke.
did he know that John was on the plane? he probably didn't care because how could he know that he would come back from the dead (which by the way is the coolest thing EVER and made me really happy!)

i hope Locke kills Ben...

so, everyone's accounted for but Sayid and Sun. i'm assuming that Sun and the pilot took the boat and went to the big island, but where is Sayid?

when Ceaser said took John to the injured i really thought that Sun would be there for dramatic affect, i'm kind of glad i was wrong.

Ah, that makes sense. Ben knew that John was on the plane though, he was the one who kept the body safe and told Jack to take it to the airport. Remember?

Perhaps he is going to use the whole John coming back to life thing as a new manipulative stance over some other people. John is probably going to have to rely on him to understand how he came back to life.

I don't know though, in the end I put it down to Ben just really wanting John dead and so he killed him not realising that he would come back to life - but that is obviously wrong since in Eloise's church he made this massive spiel about resurrection.

I like Caeser!

I don't know, this season doesn't feel as 'Lostie' to me. I still love the show it's just giving off a different vibe these days. I don't know if it's because the off island stuff... I love the island and wish it were real. It's like Hogwarts to me!

I don't think I would align myself with either of them; I'd stick with Juliet.
But if I had to choose it would be Ben, he has more people to protect me. Even if I would have to eventually kill him :D

I've finally had a chance to catch my breathe after last night's ep. I think this one goes down as one of the series' best eps. Locke's story is always so fascinating to watch, and Terry O'Quinn is just an incredible actor. Give that guy an award.

I have a question.
Is Eloise definitely on Ben's side? I just rewatched 'Jughead' and Whidmore knows exactly where she is? Is she working for Ben but spying on Whidmore and he trusts her? Or the other way around? Or is she only in it for herself?

I didn't really rate last nights episode. I mean it wasn't the worst episode we have ever seen. But it felt a bit, I don't know, out of place. The fading in and out of Locke's visits was a bit pointless - we already knew that Locke went to visit them and they blew him off. The rest of it was great though; it's difficult to know who to trust now. Whidmore is 'helping' John. But so, apparently, is Ben. Did Ben kill Locke to protect the island from Whidmore knowing that Locke is easily manipulated and would come back to life when he reached the island?

I think nearly every single member in the cast of LOST needs to receive an award.

The episode was cool ... but not that awesome..

Ben killing John was predictable and i have the feeling he knew from the beginning he was gonna kill John...

I mean, i think ben knows the island is course correcting things and fixing things... if John commiuted suicide he problly would have stay dead... but Ben killed him unexpectedly.. so the island is kinda resurecting him ???
After John told him about Jin, Eloise... Ben had all the info he needed

Thats my thought...

I laughed when we saw sayid in his yellow shirt... when we saw him he was exactly at the same place, doing the same thing as in the picture lock had... oh my god!! LMAO he's a slow one !! ;)

Ajira flight being on the hydra island is pretty cool i didnt expect that ... but i hope we dont get to see the new losties often

Abaddon gettin killed... OMG so happy !!!

I lvoe LOST coz u never know who's nice and who's bad ... lool

I like Caeser!

I like Ceasar too...though I can't believe we now have yet another group of people on the island

first the Original Survivors, then the Others, then the Tailies, then the Freighter/Helicopter people, and now the new Survivors....what's next...new Tailies?....I'm not even counting all the retconned people on the island

Some are saying that Ben killed Locke because he no longer needed him after finding out about Eloise. But I don't buy this theory; I think Ben knew Eloise much longer before.

I say he killed Locke because he felt threatened that John said he knew about Eloise; her power, knowledge is too valuable to share with anyone else. Ben wants Eloise's knowledge all to himself.

Well every season they introduce a new bunch of characters, it's a recurring theme for LOST.

It doesn't really bother me that much as long as they aren't given too much attention, and, if they are there is actually something that drives the plot forwards and answers some questions instead of using them like the new LOSTIES. I don't think I would like that.

I think it's also getting really hard for us to accept new characters when we are so emotionally invested in the other characters we have come to know and love. It seems rather odd to add them when the show is coming so close to its end.

That's 7(?) episodes in now, so 10 left in this season and then 17 more for the final season. 27 episodes for them to wrap this show up with more characters? Seems a little ambitious to me... but then again, the show always was ambitious wasn't it. It has given us something new on television that is engaging and has a strong plotline while also focussing on the characters. I think some may see them as cliched but I don't really think I see that.

About the New Losties.....you have to understand, that the group that we have been following is just one of many groups of people pulled to the Island over decades (if not centuries). LOST is just a window into one of those groups.....

True !!
but i dont want to be introduced to a LOT of character.
Caesar and Ilana r ok... but thats it

Im just in love with this show

Well maybe they'll quickly kill off the rest of the people from the plane? They've managed to kill the extras who survived the first crash in a couple of episodes so I'm sure they could do it again...

^actually, no, there are quite a few survivors from the plane crash....we just see a handfull of them each week. Look at the crowd scenes whenever they have all the people gathered together on the beaches or at their camps. Also remember during the time jumping episode where they were attacked with flaming arrows,....look how many people were running thru the woods. So many people take this show and it characters too literally. We are seeing the Losties storyline thru the eyes of SOME of the survivors....

Yes but then there were the ones who got exploded down at the creek. And since they were all supposed to meet there it's fairly possible that they were blown up too, don't you think?

That could be a possibility but that would mean that Rose and bernard r dead.... and i dont think so

Not neccessarily, maybe Rose and Bernard got away! lol

Anyway back to the whole Ben killing John thing. Surely John would not have been able to kill himself if the island needed him?! Michael wasn't able to kill himself. I still don't get it... I just don't.

Also is Eloise Ben's Abbadon? They both do the whole "getting people to places they're meant to be thing?" Ooh, does that mean that Desmond is what John is to Ben in Whidmore's eyes. Maybe they are both disposable to them?

So, Lost tonight!
Hopefully a lot better than last weeks, which to me was a shameful way of filling in time and showing us unimportant visits to the O6.
Please say it's better? Has it been on yet, I think I'm going to wait till sunday to watch it this week! lol

^^^^^
It's hard to believe it was you who was questioning me about giving Lost any criticisms just a couple pages ago. What happened?

I think Lost has been getting better the past few episodes. Evidently you think the opposite.

Anywho, by the preview of tonight's episode, it looks like another big revelation to the ones on the island. Sawyer looked surprised about something.
