LOST - parts that make you cry. *

Next LOST is titles "Dead is Dead". Maybe Ben will be judged and WILL die for the sins he committed. (I mean they really can't do much more with his character....(scary thought though)). Desmond will come to the Island to kill Ben.......just to find out he is already dead. THAT would be Ben's Perfect Revenge.......

oh my god, im scared just thinking they might kill off Ben ... for the first time in a show we have a very good BAD CHARACTER !!! loool

He's just too awesome to die...

"Dead is Dead" could just be a play on words. It could say that the idea of being dead is now dead, which means the opposite; being alive. Locke was dead, but not really. Ben was dead, but not really. Jin was as good as dead, but not really. And Christian Shephard? Hmmm. Dead is dead.

Just got done re-watching the whole season 1, which at the time I thought was the best TV ever. But this time through I was very disappointed. I mean, let's face it, not a whole lot happened that season. I think the show is much more exciting now.

I rewatched the whole show just before christmas as stated in the first post of this thread. And I didn't see anything bad about it... I actually think the first seasons are better than Season's 4 and 5. :S There might be less things going on with the plot but the characters are being expanded on really well, and I miss that. In 1977 they've all changed but I don't think enough has been shown of how they got that way - ie. Juliet and Sawyer. Although I think this is the part where they are working on that? We've had Sayid and Kate episodes. Ben is next so perhaps we'll see more of Juliet. Unless they do think she is expanded fully and are going to kill her.

Agreed. Much more likely.
Charlie's dead, but we've seen him again. Ana Lucia and Libby are dead. We've seen them too.

I agree that the characters were presented in a really interesting way, with the flashbacks and all. But then they threw away most of that when they started getting into the scifi stuff. What happened to Kate the outlaw? Jack the neurotic? Sawyer the con man? Locke the doormat? (Well maybe he's still a doormat...).

Not to mention that at least 4 of the characters they spent so much time on have been snuffed out.

So what's left when you watch Season 1 now? A lot of stuff that ended up going nowhere, like conflicts on the island over who was going to be the leader, or who got to keep the guns, or who Kate was going to schtup.

Incidentally, I read an interview on Lostpedia with David Fury, who wrote some of the episodes that season. He pretty much says they hadn't at all laid out the rest of the series yet, even to the extent of not knowing who the Others were.

But I Think a part of me, wouldn't mind to just watch the Losties just living on the island... I'm weird like that.

Well Chris, as a friend pointed out to me, this series does not have to end with the last episode of LOST next year. The writers could easily go back and build a whole new series focusing on the Others, and their back story. How they got to the island, why they feel the Island is "theirs"......OR focus another show/series about the Dharma's, BEFORE our Losties got involved. You know,...what THEIR reason was for running experiments on the Island. And lets not forget, the Black Rock ship and it's crew........

The writers have tons of material to use from here on.......

But anyway, I'm certainly not going to stop watching at this point. I can't wait for the next episode each week, I think the show has improved 100% since they're all back on the island.

And who knows, maybe next year they'll start tying in all the plotlines from the flashbacks. That would be awesome.

I was thinking about that !!!
There's one season left and we dont know anything bout it...

could it be the final WTF of LOST ??? I would certainly LIKE it

Is this the last season of Lost or do we have one more season?

I still love Ben and think that he is an awesome villian. The best scene in the whole series is where his "daughter" gets killed and he sics the smoke monster onto the mercenaries.

See I thought most of season 4's scenes were pretty awful. Too rushed and a huge leap forward into moving the plot forward than I was used to for LOST. I'm sort of used to it now and am enjoying season 5 a lot more than I enjoyed season 4, but then, season 5 is better anyway.

At the end of this season there will be one more season

heheeh Season 4 was the best one for me (srry sam)

It was just breathtaking, exciting, and just awesome !!!

I can imagine season 4 being better for most people actually.

I was pretty gutted, the amount of Juliet scenes were cut in half, and Charlie was gone. Claire was not being utilized. There wasn't a character I really liked or connected with left. The only ones I like who aren't one of those is Daniel and Jin who are both smoking hot.

But what happened with the plot was pretty awesome! lol
Except for the deaths scenes of Rousseau, Carl and Alex. They were pretty rubbish.

Oh yeah the 3 ddeaths were AMAZING

Carl i was glad

Rousseau sad

Alex RELIEVED !!!! LOL thanks to Alex death we had the best scene EVER on LOSt with Ben being calm and cold... like Ohio said

Oh i didn't LIKE the 3 deaths!
I was shocked! LOL

AND PISSED. haha

It was a bit of a shell shock episode.
It just came out of nowhere!
They just reunited mother and daughter - something we had been waiting for since season 1... and then killed them.

Carl was just spare parts wasn't he. Boring annoying brain washed boy.

Rousseau... I miss Rousseau.

Yeah that scene was awesome though.

Well the only bad thing with rousseau's death is that it wasnt planed...

She just asked to leave the show.. and thats even more sad, coz the writers said they had plans for her, and it would have been cool to have her wandering in the jungle with sawyer and co

I had no idea that was the way it went! So Rousseau's story is just going to be left hanging because she was selfish. Mind you, it will be because she wasn't getting enough scenes or maybe because she was suddenly being used a lot and that wasn't really what she wanted. I suppose it would have been cool, but she would have just been spouting the same shit and warnings. I have stayed alive on this island by avoiding these types of encounters.

I don't really blame her for leaving, they weren't giving her enough to work with.
Dominic Monaghan felt the same as well about Charlie, I'm surprised Emilie De Ravin only took a year off and promised to come back for Season 6 with the tiny part her character has played since season 1.
