Lost season 4

Well we will find out next week, since the preview says we will see "the return of somebody that we thought would never see again." I really don't think it's someone who we thought was dead (although if Boone appeared I certainly wouldn't complain).

I'm thinking Michael alone will be revealed on the freighter. We won't see Walt on the freighter. His whereabouts will still be a mystery, or maybe Michael will provide a brief explanation about where he is.

I don't remember the reference to Kate's baby as Aaron. I thought it was Kate's and Sawer's, that was why Jack didn't want to see it.

Did this really happen?

Evidently you never watched episode 4-04 from 2 weeks ago, at least not the last half of it.

That's okay mark1111 as you can see from my earlier posts I don't know what the hell I'm watching either. Apparently, I'm just looking at the lush tropical vegetation](*,).

Quixote is the lost professor;).

Last night's episode mainly made sense to me. Although, I couldn't recall for certain what the man whom Juliette was sleeping with had done in any previous episodes, but I'm sure I'd seen him before.

I like the beginning when they were trying to make you think Juliette might be one of the O6 as she was dressed up for the interview, looking potentially like we could be flash-forwarding.

And just when I decided that maybe Ben was a good guy, he kills that man.

I will be shocked if it's not Michael on the freighter. Then again, this is Lost...everyone has to suspect it's Michael since we've known for months of his return right about now.

ahem. Allow me.
You saw Goodwin before in Season 2. He was an "other" that attempted to blend in with the losties disguised as a passenger. But Anna Lucia (remember her?) saw right threw him. He admitted to her that his group stole some of the lostie's children because they are "good people." After a fight, he was impaled by her spear. Evident last night when Ben showed Juliette his rotting corpse with the spear still in it.

I'll just be damned teach....and see, I actaully thought I got last night's episode and apparently I was looking at the pineapple trees. So, then Ben didn't kill Goodwin. And I remember that scene with Anna Lucia. Now, I feel like I missed the whole point of last night's show. Lost kinda makes algebra suddenly seem easy:confused:. I'm bring you an apple next time.

So, then Ben didn't kill Goodwin.
In a way he did, he was still responsible. He sent Goodwin to the crash site knowing that Anna would eventually find out about him and kill him. This was covered last night when Juliette figured out that Ben had sent Goodwin to his own death.

Back to my prediction about Michael. Now, I'm starting to doubt myself and thinking it won't be him returning next week. It just seems too obvious which isn't typical of Lost.

I would love for it to be Boone.

Yep, everybody thinks it will be Michael...but, I recall that this year, someone presumed to be dead was coming back. Micheal is definitely coming back but was never presumed dead. So, it could be a host of characters...Boone's sister, the school teacher who exploded, Charlie, the drug preist....who else died?

Locke's dad. . .?
Last night, after Locke insisted Ben to tell him who the mystery person is on the boat, Ben did tell Locke "OK, but you better sit down." Kind of implies this person was close to Locke.

Not bad...could be Locke's pop. Why hasn't Locke asked more questions about how Ben got his Dad there that time? That's another story line that just went away. Of course, I always wonder why characters don't ask more questions on the show in situations that warrant such opportunities.

Of course, if they did, I guess we wouldn't have a show.

i'm Hoping It's Michael. I Liked Him, But If They Bring Him Back, He'll Probably Be A Bad Dude.

I feel like I think I know who it is on the boat because of who the 8th episode will be focused on flashback wise, but at the same time when has anything in this show ever been predictable?

So right about the predictabliity. I am still pissed about losing Charlie....or so we are led to think. LOL

Last week was about Juliet and I never cared much for her and especially not with Jack!

So this week we got a big mixed bag. We found out who the secret person is on the boat (which wasn't a real surprise, but still an important revelation). We found out at least one other member of the Oceanic 6, and another if dead people count which would round out the full 6. And we get an emotional flash forward of one character intertwined with a surprising flashback of another. All in all a much better episode than last week's.

What did y'all think?

Looks like for once they did telegraph a plot element with Michael being the spy. Very tricky incorportating the flash forward and flash back. That was pretty cool. Yeah, I'm not sure about Jin counting as one the 06...probably intentionally ambiguous.

So, am I to assume now that the 06 castaways will be on the island no more than about 3 more weeks (island time, not TV time) since Juliet gave us a timeline on Sun and the baby's ability to survive?

Who knows. . . but 3 weeks in Lost time is like at least a whole season.

Come to think of it, I don't think that Jin is really dead, and Sun and Hurley know it. I think the grave was put there when the rest of world thought he died on the (staged) plane crash. I think he was left behind, alive, on the island.

You may not be far off base. The gravestone has already been translated elsewhere and the dates read 1970 something to 9-22-04. Suns ambiguous speech about missing him at the end never clearly indicated whether or not he was dead.

I really dig the flashback/flashforward stuff and really hope we see it again.

Michael on the boat wasn't a surprise for me unfortunately. That's what I get for reading episode titles and knowing who they will focus on ahead of time.

I liked the episode. So far season 4 is 7 for seven, meanwhile season 3 had to do twice as many episodes before they got to 7 really good ones.

Dear Emmy Voter Panel:

Please give Yunjin Kim the emmy for best actress in a drama. Her character probably classifies more of a supporting character, but her performance in this week's episode outshines anyone else's this season that she deserves top honors. Oh hell, give both awards to her. Lost always manages to move me in a way no other show has (the phone call between desmond and penny 2 episodes prior was such a beautiful moment i thought), but sun just knocked everything out of the park this week. the only disappointment i thought was that she let juliet get off way easy with just a slap in the face. Make the right choice people, and dont bother nominating anyone else. Don't make me come hunt you down one by one.
