Lost season 4

I think that in the last season of LOST (two seasons from now) the Oceanic 6 (or at least Jack and Kate) will come back to the island to find that the rest of the Losties have become the new "others", led by John, and are now the protectors of the island.
Remember, as we have seen in the flash forwards, at least four years will pass (off the island) before they start to decide to go back. That is a lot of years for the rest of the island crew to create their own society......

I hadn't thought of that, but I could totally see it happening. I could see Locke and Sawyer running the new "others".

You guys should realy check out EW.com the have realy good lost coverage and clears up alot of stuff

I think two more seasons remain for Lost. Definitely not the series finale this Thursday.

Actually to clarify the Lost terms. In May, 2007, the producers and ABC agreed to produce 48 more episodes. The intention was to air 16 consecutive shows starting each January beginning in 2008 and the series finale would be May, 2010.

Only thing I wonder is if the eps that we were shorted this year due to the writers strike will be added to the future seasons are merely lost forever.

Ben IS awesome.

I am getting SICK of Jack crying all the time. Is that the only emotion that actor can show---lol?

I was shocked by how long they are going to stay off the island before deciding to return. It looks like about four or five years (going by the growth of Aaron.)

What will happen on a show like this if one of the actors quits, or worse yet, dies?

One more day to the exciting Lost season finale. Actor Micheal Emerson ("Ben") said the 3 words to best describe the finale are "Dark. Violent. Casualties."

And now TV Guide's Michael Ausiello is reporting that there will be 3 deaths on the finale...all original cast members. He said this in his weekly Q&A column:

Question: OK, Ausiello, get me psyched for the Lost two-hour finale on Thursday! — Al

Ausiello: The significant death I hinted in the last AA? It's for sure an original cast member. This just in: Better make that (gulp) three original cast members. That's right, per my Lost mole, a trio of island vets won't survive tomorrow's finale. Crikey!

Counting down the hours.....

All 3 are from the original cast??? Hmmm, this makes it tough. I was going to say Rose and Bernard, but they didn't appear until season 2. It also rules out any of "the others". It rules out Juliet. Or any of the freighter people. It rules out Penelope, even though Ben wants to kill her.

So my guesses are:

Sawyer: I felt his time was coming since I realized he never had any episode this season which was about him. He had no flash forward, and thus no future.

Michael: He returned this season for shock value. The shock is over. He's no longer needed.

Claire: I suspect she is already dead. But maybe they will show what happened to her to confirm it.

I wonder how well I will score out of 3. I'll be really screwed if some of the Oceanic Six are killed off in the future. I'm still ruling out Jin even though they already showed his future grave. I still think he is alive and will stay alive.

I agree that Sawyer is probably bitting it. They made it a point to have 2 Sawyers on the island with Miles, so he'll be the replacement.

I also agree that Claire is sadly probably already dead but if not, she's going as well.

I think at least one of the 3 will be whoever is in the coffin from the future which means they die later. Then again I also think it could be Michael in the coffin so who knows what is what.

I love speculating with this show because I actually enjoy being wrong when it comes to LOST.

Ok, Miles is mysterious and everything... but he is no Sawyer! Come on!

Yeah...I'm thinking some deaths could be in the future; consequently, they could stay on the show as long as they are in the "present".

Just a clarification from above ... Rose appeared in Season 1. She is an original cast member, although Bernard did not appear until Season 2.

With that being said, I am still predicting the casualties are Rose, Michael, and Jin.

Since I guess we're in the predicting death business[-X, I will go with Clarie, Michael and Rose. Okay, I really think they would kill off Bernard before Rose, but he's not in the original 16. I think Micheal is in the coffin, so I guess that means he is an "in the future" death.

As far as originals go, there really aren't that many to pick from after you remove the oceanic six.

I just can't imagine them knocking off Sawyer...not with two seasons left.

OMG!!! Wow...what an incredible season finale.....I must catch my breath now and absorb all that happened.

I stopped in the middle of the show just to research who the hell is Jeremy Bentham...I thought I'd forgotten someone from early on...no wonder I couldn't find an answer[-X

whoooooooooaaaaaaaa that was a WHOLE Hell of a lot to take in! That was an action/information packed 2 hours...lol

Totally called it being Locke in the coffin

CAN'T WAIT FOR NEXT SEASON!

I wish it was Ben in the coffin. I'm tired of his creepy ass. Plus I don't want him to kill Penny. I love Desmond and Penny together.

Why is Lost the best show ever? I am so happy it is Locke in the casket....Sayid Kicks so much ass....he fight scene was amazing.

Well, I got 2 out of the 3 right on my predictions. I'm amazed they keep Rose around, given her part-time schedule. I really had high hopes for her, as I found her character intriguing in the first season. When the Smoke Monster was making it's presence known, she made a quote saying she "heard that sound somewhere before", but they never followed up with it.

I figured they probably only brought Michael back this season to kill his character off. And they weren't really doing anything with Jin, and we already knew from earlier in the season that Sun and Hurley visited his grave, so he was pretty much a given, as far as I'm concerned.

I actually thought when I first saw the casket, that it was going to be Jack in the casket looking at himself. I knew they were going to go for a shocker, and I thought that was the direction they were taking, but they went with Locke instead. Can't wait to see how they explain what happened there, as the last we saw him, as someone else predicted in this thread, he took over as the New Leader of the Others.

Well the thing is we don't know if Jin is really dead. All we know is the boat exploded. I also don't like how Kate has convinced herself Aaron is her son. She knows people on the island survived and no one knows what happened to Claire.
