This is part of the reason behind why left wing parties in Canada try so hard to connect to that target audience and weaken the right. It's also why the prime minister talks down to his steadfast followers.

There are obvious exceptions to this though. I hate the guy, but Stephen Harper is a very smart man. There are many other intellectual right wingers as well, but God help me I can't think of any.

I just googled Nipsey Russell. hasn't thought about him for a long time. He died at the age of 80 back in 2005. He was a real card.
