New Years Eve and the hubby and I never do anything.
I need to get back into shape for the bike races in the spring so I did some LSD (long, slow distance) training today. 35 miles in 3 hours... tedious but what you have to do to get the legs in shape. It did not rain so the ride was pleasant.
Tonight while others are doing the New Years Eve thing I am busy surfing the net for Meat Puppets live MP3s. There are quite a few that I like. Its interesting that I prefer the heroin influenced late recordings over the early LDS inspired shows... who knew?
Lake of Fire, Plateau, Up on the Sun and Maiden's Milk are my favorites. Many of the live recordings ROCK!!!

Nirvana made these guys popular again in the 90s which is great - without the MTV deal I might have forgotten about them all together!
Now it would be cool if SST records would get off their asses and settle with Husker Du. I need "Makes No Sense At All" and the Mary Tyler Moore Show theme song badly.
