I recently had sex for the first time,(!) and we tried anal sex. We did everything to loosen him up and we used plenty of lube and everything was fine until a few minutes in. He started to get a burning sensation, which I thought the lube was drying out, so we applied more lube and it made it worse. We were using a water based lube (KY). Did I guess wrong and he just had a reaction to it, or next time should we try a silicone based lube? When he washed himself the burning went away.

Was the burning inside or outside? (You said he washed and the burning went away immediately)

If outside, are there any obvious areas of redness or irritation?

If it were a contact allergy, the redness and irritation would not typically have gone away immediately after washing. Contact dermatitis can take days to weeks to completely resolve. So... probably not that.

It almost sounds like there was an area of irritation already present (inside or out) that was further irritated by either the lube or the action or both.

Try a new lube. If he still reacts, he may need some healing time or to be checked out by his doctor (especially if it's internal).

way to go on your 1st time. in my experience Wet Platinum (silicon based) works the best. a little expensive, but stays lubey for long long time... i love that shit!

Yup. Good stuff.

Thanks for the replies everyone! He told me that it just burned, but not where, and when he came back he said it was better. I will try the Wet Platinum!

Is Gun Oil safe for condoms? I know the stroke 29 isn't, but I'm not sure about the gun oil..... I haven't tried it yet.

There are two versions of Gun Oil... the water based is condom safe and is labeled as such, the other is not and is also labeled as such...

It's kinda funny, although I feel a little stuipd finally figuring it out... I realized just this week that we have two different lubes (one on each side of the bed) and I have a tendency to have better staying power with one over the other... we've got Wet Light on one side, and Id Glide on the other...

At the query of another JUBber... I think I end up lasting longer with the ID instead of the Wet... I'll have to see if I can talk hubby into a scientific test....

*sigh*, its probably was because you guys rush it too quickly. I am pretty sure he wasn't allergic to the lubes.

Basically this... Loosen him up doesn't mean using a lot of lube and forcing three four fingers up there right away hoping his ass will give in. You probably was rushing too fast thus had injured his colon slightly. The burning sensation sometimes can be seen with a pinkish/red mark on your dick. That is blood!

Start slowly. Don't force his ass open. Lube helps lubricates but it doesn't elastically opens up his ass. One finger... then two, by the second finger there will be a discomfort and a lot of tension already if he's a virgin, so let him get use to it first. It takes time for a virgin ass to stretch... Then try three fingers and same thing, let him get use to it and go realllly slow.

Do not think that if you put too much fingers in their his ass will loosen and stretch too much and you can't feel the tightness. Trust me, no matter how loose, if the bottom knows how to milk, you'll go crazy like a pitbull.

It is entirely possible your hubby has a reaction to KY (I do). The Wet series seems to be good though.
