I'm not sure if we are thinking of the same video but the one I'm thinking of Lucas never said he was bi. He said if he had to choose btwn a hot guy and an ugly/mediocre girl, he'd pick the hot guy. He didnt seem that serious and I'm not sure that really makes him bi either way.

Ok, that's not a valid confession, but the things he says during scenes and Pete's Attic plus his behavior in bed makes me think he's definitely bisexual.

(Disclaimer: I'm not a behavioral psychologist, my conclusion was reached by comparing his performance with other admitedly bisexual CF models (Dave, Joel, Luca) and with the absolutely straight ones like Connor and I may be as wrong as anyone else.)

IMO Dawson has always had a personally that comes across as gay but I truly believe he is straight. The only thing that made me wonder was his scene with Ty. But I think he was more turned on by how turned on Ty was by him, if that makes sense.

That makes perfect sense. Dawson's personality is not gay as much as it's non-existant. What comes across from him is that in general, his intention is to please. I remember reading some interviews with CF models like Logan and pre-hot-guy-over-ugly-chick Lucas and they couldn't answer the question "which male celebrity would you like to have sex with" - of course, because they're so str8 - but the interesting thing about Dawson's answer wasn't itself, but its justification: "Jake Gyllenhaal, because that would make Corbin happy".

Also, I noticed that the good performances Dawson pulled out happened in either of those circunstances:

1) When the other model is very quiet and submissive (Troy, Brody, first scene with Trent); or
2) When he knows for sure that the other model is into him (Lucas, Patrick, second scene with Trent).

I'm not sure about Lucas. I dont think he is really into Dawson. I think he just cares about a good performance and wants to get to know his partners to make a connection.

Oh, he's a good performer all right, but he definitely has a thing for Dawson. From the insane moans in "Lucas fucks Dawson", to him ignoring TJ and going straight for Dawson at the TJ tag team, to his boucing at him during the Bi tag teams, it infuriated me how CF couldn't see there was a rematch begging to happen! Until this video came, of course.

Sorry guys I'm just still not sold on this Lucas likes Dawson business. I think he is just a very friendly, engaging person. And I think he and Dawson are friends outside of CF. And on that level I do think Lucas likes Dawson more than Dawson likes him. He also seems very uninhibited and just let's himself go in scenes, and giving in to what feels good.

As far as being drawn to Dawson I think it's just like all the guys are drawn to Dawson. They really love his physique. And love to rub his muscles at the beginning of each scene.

I also just remember a weird thing. When Dawson did a scene with Kip he was shocked to find out Kip was having boyfriend problems. he didnt realize Kip dated guys. It was odd b/c he seemed a little uncomfortable with it imo.

After watching the DVD, I want to think that they are a couple.

However, I believe they've known each other for a few years now, and they have a friend with benefits chemistry between them.

I wonder at the extent to which doing gay porn on a regular basis since they were 18 has informed the adult sexuality of Lucas and Dawson? I figure that 16-20 year old guys are more 'sexual' than either gay or straight, and will fuck just about anything. There's that joke: how is fucking a fat chick like riding a moped? It's a lot of fun but just don't let your friends see you do it.

Granted an awful lot of people -- including friends and family -- have seen Lucas and Dawson have sex with guys. However, they have the excuse (or rationalization?) that they're getting paid an awful lot of money to do it. While they've each had their share of lack-luster performances, neither of these guys come across like they're just going through the motions, and when they're into it they seem to be genuinely on fire.

They seem to be most on fire when they're with each other. This video may contain the best performances for either of them. Perhaps this has something to due with the fact that, in addition to knowing each other for five years now, their backgrounds are very similar and they're just more comfortable with the familiar.

Lastly, I brought this up on the main thread: Lucas' 'retirement' was announced on March 5th (ACS w/Mario), and the write-up said something like 'it's been a while since we've heard from Lucas . . . involved in a successful non-porn business, etc.' This video was allegedly filmed during Sydney Mardi Gras, which this year was from February 19th to March 6th. Does anyone think it may have been filmed over a year ago? As I said above Dawson has his pubes, and looking back in the winter of 2009 Lucas' hair was shorter and unhighlighed.

To put it more plainly, I think my point is I think Corbin Fisher (and Sean Cody etc.) captures these guys at a point in their sexual development when they are still in the process of forming, or perhaps informing their sexuality.

Under the aegis of easy money, these impressionable guys have lots and lots of experiences sexual experience with guys -- probably a lot more than they have with chicks. On top of that, being former wrestlers I think both Lucas and Dawson (and Dru, and many others) are predisposed to male-male intimacy: in some regard they've experienced it already on the mat. I think Corbin Fisher -- whoever he may be -- is aware of this: many of the models were wrestlers. I contrast Lucas and Dawson with a guy like Travis, who started doing porn at 23 but had probably had a lot of experience with guys beforehand. Dru, for the record, admitted that he'd messed around with a couple of guys (sucked dick?) before modeling for Sean Cody

I suppose I'm digressing into a discussion of the extent to which sexuality is determined by biology vs. experience which is completely pompous and inappropriate to a thread dedicated to a couple of hot guys having hot sex. But I too would love to know if these guys really are 100% straight in their off-camera lives. Obviously I can't know this without completely violating their privacy.

Timing: for the record Lucas' hair looks pretty much the same in this video as it does in the ASC Mario stills so I'm guessing this video was taped only three months ago. i'm pretty sure it's "RVCA" - which is a skateboard/surf brand (own a few of their shirts myself).

so i've definitely participated in the age-old "are they gay vs straight" topic in justusboys-threads-past, and the unsatisfying thing about it is that these boys are the owners of that information and are free to hide, conceal, lie, subvert or speak truthfully as they so please.

my biggest issue (or one issue) i have with these boys who claim adamantly to be straight despite their penchant for fucking boys is that they're doing a disservice to young gays trying to come to terms with their own identities themselves - not that these CF boys give a damn about that.

but, by fucking other hot boys and claiming to be straight, they're sending this mixed message that you can fuck around with guys and then still convert to heterosexual norms within the span of a few hours.

which sucks because, rather than having "str8 acting" individuals embrace their homosexuality and become "role models" (to a degree) for boys just coming to terms with their sexuality, it indirectly supports chalking homosexual urges in hot guys to either (a) a means of earning cash or (b) a passing phase.

clearly, i'm reading too much into this.

but surely there has to be some injustice in the realization that these so-called "hetero" boys have probably outfucked many of us when it comes to other hot muscled dudes.

but i think that fact - in itself - says enough for me.

because as great as making a couple grand in one sitting would be, there would never be enough money in the world to make me (a homosexual male) want to fuck a chick on screen time after time after time. maybe once or twice - but over the span of 5+ years? no thanks.

and i think the reverse would be true for a true heterosexual male. (see: cody cummings for some true gay-for-pay action).

so - long story short - yes, i think these guys have homosexual feelings and urges. yes, i think lucas and dawson showed real chemistry and a real bond in their scenes and (more importantly) in the in-between-scenes together in the DVD. (hell, the moments between their sex scenes when they were just hanging out turned me on more than the sex scenes themselves.)

but i also think they're still into women and would never ever for a moment consider leading a homosexual "lifestyle."

and quite frankly, i think it's because - if they can live a straight life and can deal with fucking pussy (which they've shown they can sufficiently do) - then that alternative and the idea of not being shit-on as a homo for the rest of their lives is a far superior alternative in their minds than being true to their own sexual feelings and being openly gay.

but that realization is a small price to pay for getting a DVD full of three good scenes (not great, though) featuring beautiful men doing what they obviously do best in their spare time: fucking each others' brains out.

I think you're most likely right. Life is still easier if people think you're straight. I think a lot of these guys think: If I can play it straight in public and fuck guys in private(or for pay) why not?

I think later in life they might re-think that. That kind of life comes with it's own problems. I just finished reading a book called Probation that seemed to cover it pretty well.

Dav242, I'm with you on the 'role model' stuff. There are plenty of 'non-scene' or 'masculine-identified' young gay guys trying to come to grips with their sexuality for whom a gay Lucas and Dawson would offer a beacon of hope.

I suppose being a nominally 'gay4pay' porn-star allows these guys to have their dick and eat it too. But the bigger problem, as I see it, is that there's a market for this stuff to begin with: there are lots of gay men who for some reason think it's hotter to watch 'straight' guys have gay sex.

Personally I think Lucas and Dawson have had enough sex with enough guys during a crucial part of their development. I think homosexuality will always be a major component of their libidos.
