Macs, atheism and some very circular logic

Not my fault I'm young and still have hope and ideals.

I'll be cynical like you guys later on in life :P

A pox on all your hides! (*@*)

I use Solaris and HP-UX. #:>

At home? What you packin'?! A mainframe?

Strange that if Windows users make up 90 per cent of the pie it's Mac users who are accused — by Windows users — of jumping on the bandwagon and likened to Scientologists.

It's proof of the Windows Stockholm syndrome.

what is a Stockholm syndrome

So, is it...

90% Windows = 90% Christianity

10% Macintosh, Linux & Other = 10% Scientology, Kabbala & Other

Mac user and pretty atheist here. Not a confirmed atheist, just a pretty sure atheist.

But definitely a Mac user.

Does that count.

I can't believe some mac-fruuueaks call themselves atheists!
Last time I checked your unconditional love towards a flashy OS and unquestioned believe in it's prophet mr. jobs was clearly showing all signs of a religion.

I find it funny how on Mac vs PC ads they have say that Macs do what kids like. Which according to Mac is making photo albums and videos and I was here under the impression that kids wanted to play video games:rolleyes:

I personally don't trust apple ... anymore. I have an ipod which has one function; play music and it doesn't always get that right. To be honest I had more problems with a mac for the year I used one in uni and the 4 years I've had my current computer.

Gay Windows users are just in denial about being Mac heads. ;)

Macs are too user friendly :)
Ha ha. I have to admit that's the first time I've heard that.

Yeah, I suppose we should all be hand-cranking our car engines. All this wimpy electric starter and power steering is way too user friendly. :p

Devout atheist with a PC.

I know Mac's are very shiny and pretty but you can't get many games for them so they stay on the shelf.

The worldwide market share of the Mac is just shy of 10%.

The worldwide prevalence of atheism is approximately 10%

I own a Mac and am an atheist.

I have three friends who own Macs - they are atheists too.

Is the Mac using 10% the same 10% that make upatheists worldwide?

Are they the enlightened 10% of the world, while the other ~90% scurry about believing in fairy stories and buggering about with Windows?

If you own a Mac you are likely to be an atheist and an all round better person.

A theory worth exploring more?

Discuss.

why do less people in Australia use apple then if nearly one third (30%), do not identify with any religion
