Madonna - Bedtime Stories celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. The album was released in late 1994. It was a more mature album that showned her softer side. The album was well received by the critiques. I remember how praised this album was. But somehow the album ended up being just an average hit. Many fans says that Bedtime Stories is one her best album. But this album is still quite overlooked. I think that her voice sounds the best on this album. Madonna also rarely performs songs from Bedtime Stories in her tours.

This album should have been more popular. Its surprising that Bedtime Stories is quite forgotten. Its a good album. Any of you have this album? What do you think about this album? What is your favorite songs on this album? Do you think that Bedtime Stories aged well?

I don't have it. I don't recall ever hearing of it before reading this thread. I'm not aware of having heard any of the songs on it, although I suppose I almost certainly must have been present when something was played in a bar or on the radio.

I love Bedtime Stories! I discovered it exactly 10 years after it was released during my last year of HS and I've loved it ever since. It's not exactly an "exciting" entry in her discography, but it's a gorgeous mood piece and paved the way for the electronica of Ray of Light (which I like, but loses steam towards the end).

Aside from the singles, my fave tracks are Inside of Me, Forbidden Love, Love Tried to Welcome Me and Sanctuary.

This was the biggest hit from it.
