BUT I started thinkin', "Ya know, I totally love this Duran, Duran song (which Timberlake not only produced but also co-wrote) and it doesn't make me think of 'It's Gonna Be Me' nor 'Sexyback'" and so I'm gonna give this new Madonna collaboration effort a chance.

Boo I dont like my Madonna with acoustics and that. I prefer synthesizers and club beats. Dump Justin and get the Pet Shop Boys or Bloodshy and Avant! Just no Timbaland! Im so sick of his music!!

Apparently first single resolutions are being made as I write this down. Up till now a collaborated first single with not only Madonna was taken under considerations (perhaps a Timbaland/JT collaborated track), now however there's a new fierce candidate! A crazy dark dance track produced by DANJA features solo M singing partly with vocoder and strong stylish beat. A mega hit production. With only a small spoken part by Danja. Some say her vision on this record is going to take pop to a whole other level.
Definitely exciting!

I too am excited to hear how her new album turns out. While I'm not a complete fan of hers, I do enjoy quite a bit of her music. I am interested to hear how Timberlake and Timbaland's collaboration with Madonna sounds.

For some reason I just do not like Madonna. But I do love Justin soo he may sway my liking of this album if the songs sound good. Gosh if hes in all them songs they should call it the Madonna/Justin duet album.

While Madonna was putting the finishing touches to her new album at RecordPlant studios in L.A. last week, Kanye West was recording his own stuff in the next room.

Kanye was actually working on the new Michael Jackson album - and it may be just a fortunate coincidence that brought him to temporarely switch from the King to the Queen of Pop.

Pharrell - who was working with Madonna next door - invited Kanye in to meet her, the two hooked up and Madonna came up with an idea for Kanye to rap on one of her songs on the spot!

Here you go: add Kanye to the list!

I think you pretty much poured water all over my hopes for the new Madonna album.

duets with Justin Timberlake? Kanye West rapping? A song that sounds like "Power of Goodbye?" A song that sounds like "Rock your body?"

no thanks.

And yeah, I'm a HUGE Duran Duran fan but that new album is about as exciting as corn in shit. "Falling Down" is the most dull single they've had since "Someone else, not me."

Hmm, I'm not really sure that I'll like this album.

The ballads sound like my kind of thing, but I don't know if I'll like the duets with Justin Timberlake.

Oh well, we'll just have to wait and see.

Apparently the album is due to be released in late April 2008.

LATE BREAKING NEWS RE: First Video
Madonna has been in Los Angeles to discuss details with Execs at Live Nation at their Los Angeles office.

As you know, Madonna is now in New York and today, Sunday December 2, she will attend the private screening of Guy Ritchie "Revolver".

Next days, probably on Monday, Madonna will go to Warner Brothers offices to discuss her new album.

Madonna is shopping around for video directors and choreographers for her first single! She is looking for NEW people to choreograph for her and she also would like to pair with a new director... BRAND new. But she wants only top A LISTERS video directors.

Madonna want a great video for her new single. The budget for the video is huge!

Choreographer and directors will send their reels to Madonna next week. Then, Madonna will narrow down to a few. Whoever will get call to talk to Madonna, will have to fly to New York City and listen to the single in presence of Madonna at the Warner Bros. offices and discuss about the video. Security is VERY tight!

Whoa! It sounds nothing like The Beat Goes On or Candy Shop! This track sounds vicious! And the crowd definitely got into it didn't they??!! 4 Minutes To Save The World? Only Madonna can do that! I really really hope this will be the lead single & not TBGO or CS. :D

This live preview didn't really impress me seeing as there was NO MADONNA on this Madonna song. I'm assuming the feminine vocals we are hearing are those of Justin Timberlake? :)
