Madonna - Welcome to the World of Madame X. New persona, new album, new videos

I am excited for this new album! Dark Ballet reminds me a lot of American Life which is expected because Madonna said Madame X is American Life Part 2. I hope the rest of the album is good.

I heard, but you should confirm it, that Madonna's concert will be about her new album (80%), not her past hits

same video

I thought that video was the same video but its not. I just watched God Control and I thought it was in poor taste. It shows a gunman shooting people at a night club (like the 'Pulse' nightclub shooting). Its graphic / trigger warning and it was full of 'unrealistic deaths'. People get their faces shot, heads blown off and that wasnt portrayed (obviously) in the video. I think it will hit home for many people but not for the right reason. The first gun fire made me jump. Ive never heard Madonna speak out against gun violence. Why start now?

- I didnt like this video.

Where did it debut on billboard? I doubt nowhere near the top 10

Madame X debuted at #1 in the US, but two weeks later and it's already off the album chart. None of the singles charted on the Hot 100.

I think this is really the first album where Madonna knows her time atop the charts is over, but at the same time she's attempting to embrace that. Like, there's no way she should think a song like Batuka would ever climb a pop chart, but here's a video for it anyway. She also wouldn't have made that God Control video either. It was actually a cause that was important to her as a mother of six children in today's climate instead of her chasing a hit via controversy.

Madonna's "Madame X Tour" Is Turning Into A Horrible Experience For Fans

When I was eleven, I came across a show on VH1 titled "Madonna's Greatest TV Moments." I was curious and decided to watch. While I always heard about Madonna before, I never considered myself a fan. By the time the show ended, I was ready to obtain my fan card. I soon got my mother to buy me a copy of "The Immaculate Collection," the first Madonna album I owned. I spent the next several months catching up on all her music, videos, tours, and films.

As of today, I'm still a pretty big fan.

However, I'm not the kind of fan who will blindly worship everything she does. I have a mind of my own. If she releases something I don't like, I'm honest about it. Madonna has just wrapped up her stint at BAM's Howard Gilman Opera House. It was the first stop on Madonna's "Madame X Tour." With this new tour, Madonna has made many fans happy. Yet, there are several other fans who have been shafted since the tour began.

I thought that was your account as I read what was actually from the news article you have it linked to.

As I was reading, I noticed the 'choking' gif and I thought I was about to read Madonna is encouraging fans to choke each other. Then I realized it was your gif and not related to Madonna

Ironically, the last guy I was with (last week), the one who likes to dress in womens clothing, I put my hand on his throat because I had thought I recently saw choking in a few porn videos. I was a light touch but he said he didnt mind it.

I bought her new album. I like some of the songs on it. This is probably my favorite:

I thought the whole CD was rubbish. ....so disappointed in the direction her musical career has gone.

Stories I'm hearing from the tour are turning me off even more.

I miss the late 80s-mid 2010 era Madonna.

Oh well, to each their own I guess
