Hi guys!

This may sound like a weird question, but is there any way to make money stripping/showing on your webcam? I'm a college student and could use a little extra money.

I like showing off but am so sick of the jerks on yahoo and elsewhere. Is there any way to show off for guys who wouldn't mind paying a couple bucks to see?

Also, is it legal? It's not along the same lines as prostitution...is it?

It all depends on how deep you wanna go down the rabbit hole. You could design your own site (which some models have done successfully) and make it all about you. However if you do this. DO NOT use the school's network for your broadcast base. That would be against your TOS. You would need to get your own service in the dorm (if even possible) But if you live at home then disregard this.

There are sites like xtube which advertise for needing models. You get a cut of what they take in, and I can't even presume to posit a guess on the fairness of their rates.

What about something like setting up a paypal account and just doing stuff on webcam for guys willing to pay?

I am not on the schools network. However, I am not on my own either. I'm on someone else's unsecure wireless...yikes!

lol...I have a campus job that pays minimum wage. Just thought instead of showing off for ungrateful jerks on yahoo, I could make a couple bucks. I'm sick of seeing the following boring comments: "whip it out" or "let me see your dick" or "show me" or "get on cam" etc. Plus having a bunch of people watching and not saying ANYTHING bugs me. They could at least say thanks. Too many rude people out there.
 
There's a section on XTube that lets you whore yourself out for money, you could try that.
 
OrionFrye is right in that PayPal won't let you use their service for what you are wanting to do. You might be able to get by with using them, but the first time one of your clients puts "webcam" in their message, you're liable to lose your money for violating their terms of service.

Although setting up your own site would be most profitable, it also is probably more work than you want. I would recommend checking out www.imlive.com. They might be able to help you set it up.
 
you could look into flirt4free.com. The models generally get poorly paid but all the technical stuff and billing is taken care of. Count on $1. a minute while in a one on one private. It appeals to guys in Eastern Europe and South America where a U.S. dollar buys stuff.
