When did American men become so paranoid about being naked in front of an another guy or pissing at a urinal and at the same time are willing to post dick pics and selfies on the internet not knowing who is looking?

We grew up in a generation whereby we took communal showers at the gym and in the military. Pissed in urinals without partitions and doors and yes you may have looked but usually that is how far it went. Guys were guys and you went on with your life style whether gay or straight. Indecent exposure, maybe so, but that moment was limited to one or two guys standing next to you. Today's guys posting on the internet have no idea how many creeps are retaining their internet pic and will probably be the most "modest" taking a piss or showering at the gym or a public bathroom.

Sure there were guys who went too far creating aggressive sexual situations but you delt with that as it happened. Probably less than today.

This was a conversation the other day among friends and looking forward to hearing other opinions.

The internet is full of sites that originated in locker rooms and men's rooms. Sure some are staged, but others have clips and pictures of men taking a piss or a shower taken by smart phones and other hidden cameras. I grew up in
a place where we had to take showers after gym in the 6th grade, many schools no longer require and shower. So outside of porn on the net where massive cocks out number the average ones many men have never been around average guys in the nude. I would think that the urban legend of gays hanging around public bathrooms and locker rooms in search of a hook up doesn't help hetero men feel any more at ease either.

1. How does INCREASING font size - by 50% (as used in THIS post) - make something "impossible to read" ?

2. Do reading glasses - for the long sighted - actually deliver a REDUCED font size to to the reader, making print more
accessible ?
If there is a version of reading glasses on the US market that will REDUCE font size - to make the printed word more legible -
they are yet to introduced in Australia

3. Assuming the tools of font size, font style, font colour, align centre, left or right etc - were supplied to be USED
- what would a legitimate use be ?

From a background of retail marketing and advertising - optimum layout, balance and presentation
is second nature to me, as much as clear punctuation

4. ULTIMATELY, I'm still BEWILDERED - as to how use of the font size used in THIS POST can cause so much upset to less than a
handful, yet be ignored - or remain unnoticed - by the vast majority

Or how putting a 'block' on anything I post - is going to hurt ME ?

So true. I had the pleasure of being in a boy's residential school (aka juvenile home) and there was no privacy at all in the toilet, shower, locker room or dorms. It amazed me as to the variety of sizes that I saw.

At least boys grow up knowing that legs/arms/bellies/chests come in all shapes and sizes. In fact, in muslim and American society, a majority of boys grow up seeing a lot of unhealthy fat men as the norm, instead of a bad example, so here the problem is the exact opposite of the idealized image they have of a penis. For too many boys in prudish societies (muslim and American), their penis is the one body part they cannot compare to normal ones. It's one of the reasons why circumcision is still a thing anno 2022.
