Thank you, PrinceCory. The problem disappeared the following day. JUB said they were not aware of any issues. (As a retired IT guy, this is the formulaic, expected answer. I used it quite often myself.) I noticed that one other JUB member mentioned some odd things happening in his account also. But all's well that ends well.I've not had any issues on my PC which uses Microsoft's Defender for the anti-virus. You should probably have posted his in the Ask A Moderator forum (I think that is the name of the forum).
Malwarebytes is awesome and today Windows defender pretty much deals with a lot of potential threats in a fast way and also has a big DB of malware which updated in a constant way. So I don't know why people are still using Avast, AVG or anything.Ive got Malwarebytes.. all good , run scans ok .. and windows av ... no issues all up to date . all links are scanned and files scanned... don't get confused with a pop-up blocker and malware ... i use a 3rd party one...
remember Microsoft brought up allot of AV companies, so windows defender is not just " windows " any more ....Malwarebytes is awesome and today Windows defender pretty much deals with a lot of potential threats in a fast way and also has a big DB of malware which updated in a constant way. I heard a lot about Kaspersky and how amazing it is.
