My partner took me to see the musical last year and afterwards we said we would like to see it as a movie, and we even casted Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosan, It's so strange! I also wanted Kathleen Turner but I love Julie Walters

God I'm so excited! I want the DVD and the Soundtrack CD already

I assume that whenever the musical is produced, they look for the hottest male alive to play the young groom. Well, the movie is NO exception. I think his name is Dominic Cooper. He played a major stud in The History Boys (Broadway, London and the movie). I like needed a drool bucket when i saw him do the show on Broadway. Didn't appreciate the play much, but Mamma Mia should be almost as good as Hairspray but without the civil rights themes.
