Man gives boyfriend glasses that let him see real colours for first time

Very true. I remember the first time I had a pair of glasses that corrected my vision, not that I'm colourblind, just that I'm slightly short sighted, so everything far away was never in good focus. When I had them on, the colours, wow, so vibrant.

It reminds me of this

I've heard of these glasses before, what amazing technology! Absolutely amazing.
I wear glasses (regular ones, not these) and I remember how clear everything was when I first got them... it was like night and day!

I see your true color shining through..I see your truuu color..

that's why I love you, so don't be afraid..?????

true color..

true color..

beautiful

like a rainbow...

I did. It's astonishing how much we take for granted. :D

Shades and hues, for instance. He's red/green colourblind, meaning that he can't tell the difference, but he was seeing the difference between the leaves and grass.

Touching reminds me of those viral videos of people having their cochlear implants turned on for the first time.

There are different forms of colorblindness. Some have it worse than others.

I have a mild to moderate form - but even then i can still only see about 15-20% of all colors on the spectrum (and I think there are up to a million shades).

BUT - I see better through camouflage (as do most other colorblind people) - so that's the silver lining.

I want to try these glasses.
