Man Of Steel: "Henry Cavill in the Costume" update

Just a few days away now. I've been watching all things Superman to hype myself up for it. Trailer three is amazing!

So there must be some kid of explanation on how these suits are put on in the film!
Do they generate onto the body like some type of nanite intelligent construct mechanism?
Otherwise, itt would be silly for Supes to be inside a telephone booth trying to squeeze into one of these babies while the skyline of Metropolis is falling all around him.
Oh... and how does he pee? Does he just pee in the suit and it magically gets expelled byt the suit?
j/k... Henry looks hot though!

I am so excited! Just a few days away! Already have my ticket! The costune looks great! Love the shield, love the blue! Henry looks amazing!

I gotta admit he looks really hot... I'm trying to avoid seeing the trailers but they are everywhere now. ):0

They are attempting to make Supes costume like Bats. The leathery/armoured look - may look ok on Bats but the Man of Steel doesn't need it.

The cape is CGI in some scenes. Because you know, a fake cape is more believable than a real one. . .

I think it fits well.

An updated costume is long overdo.

Long time ago they did it for Batman.

I went to the Thursday midnight showing and it looked like a Local nerd Convention had come to the Mall. The theatre was PACKED with Dudes & their Buds. I brought along 2 of my Straight Buds but that didnt stop me from checking out several Built Fuckers and Nerd Butts...

Man of Steel is ALL heart. It was EXCELLENT from the begining to the END. Kevin Costner made my Eyes water..Russell Crowe is the DAD of all Dads in this Film.. And Diane Lane gave the Flick SOUL..The 3 of them don't have a lot of scenes but Boy do they make it count and they're unforgettable....With all the GREAT Fighting scenes and OUT of sight-out of mind Special effects the scenes with Kevin, Russell & Diane are what pull at your heart strings....

The Director is a Genius at telling a story...the same Masterful way he told the story of the Monster Hit "300" is the exact way he delivers on Man of Steel...

Superman is Hot as all get out...There is one scene where that Fucker is running away from a body of water BUILT like a GOD...He will remind you of "The Hulk" MINUS the Green skin...Russell Crowe also wears one of those TIGHT-fitting Suits and the side-view of his Ass is NICE...

BRAVO to the Director and the Actors...I can't wait for "300 part 2" in 2014...The battle will take place in the Damn Sea!!!...Epic...

I saw it twice. Friday with one group of friends and Saturday with another group of friends. It was amazing! I loved it! Amy Adams owns her role as Lois Lane! The action sequences were EPIC! And Superman saved the world when no other single hero would have stood a chance. Loved it!

just watched it and Henry Cavill is fine!!!
I love they let his hairy chest popped out a little whe he was wearing that suit :D

I took my dad to see it today. He is a comic book fan and he thought it was a good reboot and enjoyed Henry in the role. I really liked it and I'll be seeing it again next weekend with a friend of mine. Next to Teri Hatcher, Amy Adams is definitely my favorite Lois Lane. She absolutely made the role her own and was tough and smart. I was pleasantly surprised by the way she was used but I guess if you land yourself a 4 time Academy Award nominee...you utilize her!

Man of Steel raked in $113 Million over the Father's Day weekend....

Didn't really like it, there were a few good scenes and there was nice build up of his character but it all came crumbling down as much as the buildings in the movie were.

Spoilers will be in my criticism.

Like I said all the build up to Kale-el's character and his back story were pretty good. The scene where father Kent died was a particularly strong moment. Now when the action kicks in is where my problems start too. I know I am supposed to suspend my disbelief but I think I couldn't do it as far as the movie took it.

We are shown scenes of him saving people earlier in the movie and him doing it as a kid in the past as well. He is supposed to be a protector of the people that is just who he is. The first real big fight scene takes place in Smallville and it pretty much gets demolished. The most he did in this scene was tell people to hide in the buildings, but I am supposed to believe that this whole time that jets raining down into this small town, trains being thrown into buildings that absolutely no one is getting hurt? While Superman doesn't show conscious of the possibility of this.

The same thing continues in the city, you'd think Superman would lure Zod away from an already half demolished city so no one gets hurt, but that doesn't happen. Instead the fly to a different part of the city that is intact only to have them fly and be thrown through those building as well. I am supposed to believe that no one is getting hurt here? While again, Superman shows no conscious or willingness to protect people from this.

And this is amplified by the fact at the end where he kills Zod, where he doesn't want to kill Zod but the fact that he is about to kill a couple human beings he was forced to do so. This scene would be great if it weren't for all the things before it. All the scene manages to do there is insult my intelligence.

A movie that started out with a decent narrative on Superman that just dove into becoming a flashy no depth summer block buster.
