Mandy Moore covers Rihanna's hit song "Umbrella"...Love it or hate it?

Great cover, I've always like Mandy Moore.... i still love the original though, it just kills. :)

Riannas is nothing special. Just a catchy song. But I like Mandy Moores cover even though I've never liked anything she's done.

Wow....

I'm conflicted...

Umbrella by Rihanna has been my latest obsession, but I DO like this version.

I give it a 8.5/10 for sure. Plus, Mandy is pretty. Me likey!

First off - I LOVE Mandy Moore. Also, I don't really like any of the songs on her new album that I've heard besides Extraordinary. So I wouldn't buy it.

Finally, this version was OK. Overall, I don't think it fits her much.

I really like this version, I like the original as well.

You can tell it's a demo and not Mandy saying "i can do it better"....I just bought her "best of" album today coinceidentally.

It reminds me of "Hand on your heart" someone did a slow version of that song and it completely changed the context/emotion associated with it, both are beautiful.

Yeah, Mandy's cover album was quite good. And her version of this song is very good too. I like it. It starts nice and mellow and bursts out in the end. And if you do a cover, make the song your own, don't just copy it. And Mandy succeeded quite well with that.

Just saw it on Yahoo! I loved it!! But I agree with the poster above me... this song had its run and it needs to die soon :)
