Hello all! I've been an avid manscaper for about 6-7 years now. I'm not super hairy, but the hair on my legs, arms, & chest can tend to get longer than I prefer. I started out just trimming things down a bit all over, and then started focusing on keeping things trimmed & tight below the belt. Currently, I use the Norelco Body Groom & occasionally the Gillette BODY razor to trim back my pubes pretty low (setting 2 on the body groom), and completely shave my shaft & balls. Personally, I really like the way it feels & looks (especially during sex & my wife seems to like it). The main shaving lotions that I use are either the Gillette BODY shaving gel, or the Nivea sensitive gel. I used to the use the Nivea 3-in-1 body wash (because it also covered shaving), but I don't tend to use that as much anymore. I tried using the Fusion Pro-Glide razor, which did a nice tight job, but not as smooth as the BODY razor.

I also finish up with some baby powder, to sooth & further smooth the shave - or occasionally I use some Balla Powder (which is awesome!).

I was wondering who else trims &/or shaves the 'boys' on a regular basis, and what tools you use, what gels/lotions you use, what techniques, powders, razors, and anything else that's helpful.

I shower with Dove Nutrium Moisture Body Wash. It makes my skin super soft.

I keep my body smooth by using Nair on my legs, arms and ass. I only have to "de-hair" once every 2-3 months. I keep my chest, pubes and pits shaved smooth every time I shower. I just use a disposable razor and Dove Soap.

The hair on my chest is mainly just around my nipples. It's not really hairy at all.

In summary, I am hairless from the neck down.
 
Anyone have experience using the Norelco Body Groom electric razor? For me, it works great to trim things down on my legs, arms, chest, butt, & pubes, and also gives a pretty smooth shave on the shaft & balls too. I used to use the Nivea 3-in-1 body wash for shaving with it, but now use the Gillette BODY shaving gel (which also feels awesome as a lube in the shower....just saying).
 
I hate my back hair and have previously had a couple of sessions of laser hair removal thinking it would totally remove my hair for good. How wrong I was. Is there anyone who is able to shave their back themselves or gets somebody to do it for them. I am not able to swim but would really love to learn but being seen naked with my back hair, I just could not deal with it.

Your best bet is to see an aesthetician at a salon. Most of it can be removed with waxing. If you've already been through pulsed laser hair removal, the waxing should remove the hair for several weeks.
 
Once a week i manscape my pubes on a number 2 setting, at the same time i wet shave my testes and bum crack, along with my penile shaft.

Do you use any specific shaving gel or razor that you have found works the best? Also, do you use any powder or lotion after shaving that helps keep things smooth & soft?
 
^Hi there, i use Gillette shaving gel, and a Gillette Fusion blade. I also apply some aftershave balm afterwards. Works wonders....|
 
Has anyone tried the new Gillette Proshield razor? It claims to have extra lubrication for shaving, but I'm interested to know how is works on the more "sensitive" areas... ;)
 
Don't know if anyone has ever tried the Shaveworks Pearl Souffle shave cream, but it works so good!! Definitely leaves the sensitive areas smooth & feeling great, and seems to keep the hair from growing as fast as usual. :)
