The Danish cartoon and the satanic versus outrage were manufactured by political Islam.

The outrage over the Danish cartoons was certainly bogus. The pictures which the rabid Mohammedans took exception to were not even published in the magazine. The editor rejected them precisely because they might be considered blasphemous, but somehow they got leaked and a group of swivel-eyed Moslem rabble-rousers published them on their own website.
 
Okay. I'll bite. The only reason that the entire pics of Mohammed thing blew up the way it did was because of WESTERN media attention. So yes. It was all manufactured outrage. If it had been ignored by the European and North American media...it would have been treated for exactly what it is. A temper tantrum by extremists broadcast 24/7 around the world in order to sell feminine napkin products.

Oh and if you think it is just Islam...tell that to the kid in the US who may be doing jail time for face fucking a statue of Jesus....or Pussy Riot, who have been beaten and jailed by the Russian Orthodox Church for blasphemy.

The bait having been laid by Muslim extremists created the desired result.....a procedure developed thousands of years ago to snare ones enemy into over reacting, creating fear, and chaos....where there is none......for we are much more likely to die from the actions of muggers, drunken yobs, drunk drivers, accidents at home than by the hands of an Islamic terrorist wielding his chopper....

That was exactly what Salman Rushdie said, it was all made up and the every day muslims just don't care they have better things to do. Islamophobia is made up by the extremists.

No. You have the two things confused. The terrorists are creating a climate of fear....most often for other Muslims of a different sect or tribe. The automatic reaction from the west should not be the condemnation of 1.5 billion muslims....Islamaphobia is a western invention....manufactured and stoked by the right wing Christians, the white supremacists and the 24 hour news media like FOX...who need their audience afraid and angry in order to keep them tuning in every day. Islamaphobia is very real. Grimshaw is the perfect poster child.
 
A few points...

I don't like ANY religion imposing their version of "God's Will" on anyone else and that definitely includes Islam....

Freedom of Religion is great...so is Freedom from Religion....

If extremist Christian people thought they could get away with it in this country you would see a lot of Christian terrorists as well...just listen to some of the voices on the far right religious forums...they want to impose "God's Will" on gay people by killing us.....

There are plenty of people...the majority...in every religion who understand that it is a belief and are peaceable people who use their religion for guidance and comfort their own lives and have no wish to impose anything on anyone else....this includes Muslims

I think it is important to make the distinctions....

I have often thought that if a religion is so very neurotic about its beliefs that they must be built on very rocky ground.
If you have a solid faith in something then a little piss taking is not going to affect your belief.
Similarly, why all this hatred for non believers? If someone dosn't follow your belief how does it affect your faith?
And if you have to force people to believe what you do, how strong is their belief? And therefore how believable is your doctrine?

If you are arguing with someone you know you have won when they start to get agitated.
Militant Muslims are permanently agitated. Ergo they have always known they have lost the argument

All fears and phobias are learned behaviour except for 2: a fear of falling (not a fear of high places) and a fear of sudden loud noises. However, there is usually a basis for the various fears and phobias. They are either taught or they are learned through experience.
 
I don't see Bill Maher or Sam Harris have done anything wrong here.
Ben Affleck was crazy ... not sure he has hidden agenda behind his anger or outrage.
