Okay, guys...

...because I am a total neat freak and enjoy cleaning, organizing, and making sure things are in their proper place, I find this article on de-cluttering projects in the March issue of O Magazine to be an exciting read! Yes...call me crazy. lol It's basically a list of things you can do to break the monotony of basic home organizing and clearing of excess stuff.

I have the magazine version (which actually assigns certain tasks for specific days), but the online version is cool to follow. You can basically go through and see which ones work for you, do it...and get your place in order.

Check it out. It's a fun and "challenging" way to do a little de-cluttering, organizing, and clearing to make way for Spring cleaning!

I'm looking forward to it. My 7 minutes in Hell is going to be our hall closet. :dead:

I'm going to need FAR more than just a Month! ](*,) :slap:

Keep Smilin'!! (*8*)
Chaz :luv:

I will soon take on my storage shed, it has become a nightmare. It looks real nice... on the outside!

I don't own enough to de-clutter.

I'm going to go read this. My house is a total mess. I still have all of Steve's crap here and his coat is still hanging on the dining room table where he always put it. His robe is still hanging on his tree and all of his clothes in the closet. I've tried, believe me I've tried, I just can't bring myself to throw his stuff out. Get this, I even put a lot of his clothes in the back seat of my truck and headed to the salvation army to donate them. With all his stuff piled together, his wonderful smell filled my truck and I lost it. I started crying like a baby and drove home and put everything back. That was awhile ago so maybe I'll try again.

I need to do everything on that list.

haha...have fun with it! :D good luck.

You can do it, Chaz! (!) de-clutter that house!

My clutter has clutter and it's spread over four addresses.

well, damn.

awww...(*8*)(*8*)

so sweet and heartbreaking. Maybe you'll be able to go through with it this time.

btw...I may have some books and magazines to get rid of before the end of the month. If any of you guys are interested in taking some of them off my hands, PM me and I'll shoot you a list of what I have. :)

April is the month for the dump because it starts accepting toxic chemicals, old paint, solvents, etc. then.

You are all going to find me very smug; sorry but not one single one of those items apply to me.

My flat is not always impeccable but it never is in such a state that I have to start making piles of things to tidy up; the worst is that I have documents from yesterday's mail waiting on my desk to be filed.

Ooh! I'll remember that for next year. I moved into this house this past summer, and there's still no clutter (except maybe in the closets, cupboards, drawers, etc.).
I actually can't stand clutter. I like everything to have its own place. I know someone who has a lot of stuff though, and he's got shelves of all kinds of interesting things, and he manages to keep it looking tidy and organized :-). I don't have organizational skills like him. I could put a single item on a table and it'll look messy LOL

Cool. I'm moving in.

I'm pretty good at only keeping the things I use or that have value to me. I'm pretty clutter free. My issue is dusting. I need to dust A LOT more.

Well in that case just give me a few minutes to throw out half of what I own in order to give you some shelf space of your own.

Thanks that is very selfless of you ^_^ I currently get a quarter of my closet space
