Does anyone here follow college hoops?

let's start a march madness topic.

for bubble teams, bad news.

cleveland state is in.

Maryland is looking at a no show at the tourny again....I really thought they could make it! Dave Neal, though not a great player had a great end of the season

I was hoping the Terps would make it this year. Don't follow their conference so don't know what the issue is with them. coaching? Neal had 3 consecutive double digit games to close the reg season.

good luck tomorrow against the Wolfpack.

I was hoping Auburn would make it, but did not. I love college football and basketball and cannot wait for it to start. Must get my brackets filled out. I like Louisville, NC, Memphis for three of the(!) top four.

sorry for not being around in the last few days. HAve been horribly busy at work.

Next year we will have a march madness pool. promised

Nova just won.

for the remaining games i like

UW, UNC, Duke, I think Texas A&M is going to put up a fight

UConn has really had two statement games following that epic Syracuse game at MSG. They aren't messing around anymore, and if we still had Dyson I'd love our chances in the Final 4. But just getting there is going to be a challenge now.

dyson is a huge loss for Uconn. I still have Uconn in the elite 8 but it is then when they run into Memphis

I was almost positive my Arizona Wildcats were NOT going to be in the NCAA this year, ending their streak at 24 consecutive tournaments. Don't know much about Cleveland State but I am enjoying this tournament, because it might be awhile before the UofA gets in again.

BEAR DOWN, ARIZONA!

I thought they would not make it, I heard they were the last team in.

Good draw having Utah and then cleveland st but i give you guys all the credit. you have 2 1st rounders in Hill and Chase and nic has been on lately.

Louisville is going to be a major challenge, the line opened in like 8 and is already in 9 points.

It is the game i will watch this Friday.

Jordan Hill plays with heart, wont forget that game he was injured and came back to finish the game. badass

my poor huskies.

lets go gonzaga! lol

Your huskies screwed up my bracket. I had them going further. They have the talent to go further same with USC but at times they are undisciplined. I don't like romar. Missing FTs at the end of that game combined wityh Isiah Thomas inexperience lost the game for you. There were shots late in that game he should NOT have taken.

oh well there is always next year. I am sorry for borckman, he is a class act and will miss watching him.

Definitely luck of the draw, but we still had to win. Nic Wise really stepped it up in the tournament. Not sure if Budinger is a 1st rounder, but I wish him well. Not sure if I want to call in sick for work and watch the game on Friday, it might be a bloodbath. Jordan Hill definitely has a lot of heart. I've heard that Tubby Smith and Wright (of Villanova) are the front runners for the job next year. Either one would be good.

I don't think yo uare going to get Wright, he was born to coach Nove and have you seen Nova's incoming recruiting class? wow! they are going to be right up there next year.

Tubby Smith is old and I think Minnesota is his last stop.

I hope you hire a coach that plays open basketball not like Howland and Sendek play that horrendous , boring slow tempo basketball. yawn!
The problem with friday is that louisville is not that far from Indy and there are going tobe plenty of cardinal fans at the game, on top of that Arizona does not have much of a bench so you better not get in foul trouble. You need Jordan Hill, nic wise and Chase B all 40 mins out there.

good luck

To be honest, the ONLY basketball I watch is when my UofA plays, so I didn't really know too much about Jay Wright until I heard his names on a sports talkshow and I looked him up online. I know that Russ Pennell has been told he will not be considered, but I think he did a great job in getting these kids to play hard considering the drama that's been going on. Pennell did have some problems with time management this season, but I wouldn't be upset if he was the permanent coach. I'm getting off work early today so I can watch the game vs Louisville. I'm prepared for the worst, but I hope they can beat the spread.
:D

Good luck to you guys tonight. I will be watching that game and hoping you can keep it close. line is -9.
Pennell did a good job, he is an AAUU coach so to come in the mess the program was in and take yo uto the sweet 16 is beyond expectations. I wish him well, he is a nice guy and will always have his broadcasting gig to fall back on.

I wasn't expecting Missouri to make it this far at all. But they came out ready to play, you could tell from watching their intensity.

Good luck tonight Arizona

Michigan State or Louisville
North Carolina or Oklahoma

Me I say that----Louisville and North Carolina will win..............

Can anyone stop the Tar Heels?
