All of the three big Divas: Celine, Mariah,and Whitney have lipsynced throughout their careers. Mariah the most, by far. Saying from 1991-1998 was all live and it broke her voice is BS as Celine Dion did 3 world tours in that time, and was performing all the time. She lipped some, but not much and to this day just finished one of the most successful world tours ever and performed average 24 songs per night and has backing tracks in parts of or all of 6 songs. Thats still more live songs each night than Mariah performed all together each night lipped or otherwise. Anyhow, Mariahs vocals are weak and fake these days. She is a complete studio act and thats sad because she was definantly great in the early 90's. And Whitney, I love her for trying, and I admire her huge balls, but still. No matter how much 'better' she gets it's like goig from dreadful to horrible, in my opinion. *crappy crappy crappy BIG NOTE FOR 2 SECONDS crappy crappy* doesn't make a Diva worthy performance,
Mariahs problems is, she has no stage presance at all. She cant sell out a 5000 seat venue and people are getting old to her act and she leans on lipsyncing more than she should,
Whitneys problem is she came back to soon. She needed more time to work on her voice. Period, she has breathing problems as well.
Celine's problem is her tone. When she is worn out, it shows and she gets extremely nasil, though that doesn't effect her high notes in the least. But today, if each gave a fill live performance, I think Reba and Celine would come out ahead.
Yes, I love Celine, thats why I talk about her, hahahaha.
