Full legalisation. Not for my own purpposes, it makes me psychotic when I smoke it, but I'm part of a tiny minority. Conversely, my boyfriend uses it to keep his mental illness under control. Plus I fail to see why some upper-middle class cunt in a suit gets to tell me what I can and cannot put in my body. If David Comeron went on the telly tonight and said

"Right folks, the economy's fucked, we're all having a hard time of it, so go out, smoke some weed, take some ecstacy, drop som acid and speed."

I'd be straight edge before the fuckin' broadcast had finished. I'm a bit of a hpocrite in that respect though, if drugs were legalised by any poilitician other than him my feet wouldn't touch the floor.

Full legalization, no restrictions. Not even the same ones for tobacco and alcohol.

Alcohol is only worse than pot if you frequently drink to excess. Drinking a glass a day won't do anything to you. Besides, pot doesn't taste nearly as good in my sauce as vodka.

THC pills are already legal and good for most things pot is good for. And pot is not recommended for people with mental illnesses. Studies show it may even increase the risk and quicken the onset of mental illnesses.

All that said, I don't think people should go to jail for smoking pot or having small amounts of it. It's pointless and leads to overcrowded prisons. Jail won't stop people from using anything. I say do what Portugal did.

Full legalisation is a pipe dream. With the fact that smoking is becoming less and less tolerable in any public domain why would they legalise another form of smoking which can also be as dangerous as alcohol if around a vehicle?

i'm for ending all drug prohibition. the damage caused by prohibition outweighs the positive effects it has had (if any).

I really don't care. As a nonsmoker, that means I strictly smoke nothing. But I have no problems with them legalizing it for those that do like to smoke it. I can tolerate the smell of it better than tobacco smoke.

Decriminalizing is actually the term.

To do so would certainly free up some space in

behavior modification chambers. It could be

of some help in resolving some of the short staffing

of various social action groups. Might prove to be

an economic disaster and deterrent to many of the

independent local business people.

I can't stand second-hand Smoke...I hate passing anyone that is smoking in public...

I wish they'd BAN public smoking and I certainly don't want to smell the sickening odor of Marijuana....

And I DON't date Smokers...That "Burnt Tongue" taste is disgusting...No amount of Candy can mask that burnt/smokey Tongue and breath......It is a Deal-breaker....

I've been convinced since 2004 that by 2020 marijuana would be completely legal in the US, and I still feel that way.

We need to legalize this naturally occurring plant.

The waste of tax dollars and police time fighting this "menace" is an embarrassment and a disgrace.

it's funny how people bitch and moan about "high taxes"

and the "heavy hand of gov't,

but here is a way to dramatically reduce law enforce spending,

and create a new "sin tax,"

but folks turn away, somehow rationalizing that beer and wine are "moral" intoxicants.

where we stand today: marijuana is thought to be the biggest cash crop in many US states,

but alas,

not helping with the national debt.
