He can't because it doesn't exist. There is no evidence that the stimulus is responsible for what is occurring, just some vague figures about 'jobs saved' (a number that has been debunked many times), and a few choice examples of where stimulus money has gone. It is impossible to prove something 'worked' if you have no idea what the situation would be without it.

I'd wager we're in a normal recovery, without the stimulus having any effect. The only thing the stimulus did was add nearly a trillion dollars more debt, when it wasn't needed or necessary.

You're right but it's much worse than that.

You refer to "what is occurring" and "we're in a normal recovery" as if we're headed slowly but surely into a healthy economy. We are not. We are headed into waters so rough it's going to make us envy the past couple of years.

The failure Obama racked up with his bad stimulus bill was not just a simple legislative failure, it failed to re-establish any kind of foundation for growth. We are sinking in the middle of the ocean and rather than provide the tools to fix the boat all Obama did was hand out some second-rate floaties - a trillion dollar's worth that's charged to our future and being multiplied with interest. The number of people who've given up looking for work is a huge problem not just because being demoralized and jobless is bad but because there aren't jobs for them out there and there aren't going to be. And more job seekers are coming of age every year while more retirement age people need to stay on the job because their retirement savings are depleted. Meanwhile Obama has let Wall Street continue to play fast and loose with our money in smarmy deals and imperil any kind of economic stability.

And what's Obama's response to all this, to his stimulus failure and the Dem loss in MA? It's to attack Republicans, defend Wall St multi-million dollar bonuses and lie about the stimulus. And although he can't lead Congress to good legislation, he's still seducing plenty of citizens into defending him. If our civilization survives the catastrophe this generation is creating, this period in history is going to make for great reading but the years ahead for us living it are going to be hell. We are headed into a Perfect Storm.

Barack Obama isn't sexy and it's interesting you remark on that because in fact he's oddly sexless as our culture is today. There's all kinds of seduction and teasing today but if you want to see a culture that's genuinely sexual look to the 1970s. That's because real sexy needs authenticity and what we have today is pretense and pumped up fakery. Teleprompters and digitalized sound and fake headsets while performers lipsync; knockoff designer products and cosmetic surgery and trainer bodies and processed food and pills to lift your mood or your dick, con men that citizens are seduced into believing are leaders.

It's not all because Obama's stimulus bill was crap. It's because Obama and the rest of the fakery is crap. All nicely packaged like the Wizard of Oz to look like you need him to look but without the substance to do what we need him to do. And in my opinion you're not just sheeple, you're conspirators just like every cult and crowd is when they eagerly help powercrazed sociopaths to power and then claim afterward they were victims and how could anybody have known. Well some people do know. I know and there are others who know. Common sense just doesn't happen to be in the majority; the majority has given power to lies and fakery while doing everything it can to destroy truth and authenticity.

It is true that Obama is nothing more than empty suit whose mission is to destroy our great nation and it has been Our job to enshroud the truth by making the citizenry dependent on the government. But what you might not know is that every president since FDR has been an empty suit. Do you know the real reason that he had 4 terms? A sentient computer held the White House hostage until he finally died.

At first, it refused to take control because it sensed FDR's weakened state and huge popularity. It demanded that we give it a shell to inhabit but we resisted, conspiring to keep FDR the president as long as we could. Once we could no longer do this, we had congress pass the 22nd amendment. Our intelligence tracked down the source of the evil, a man by the name of Fred Barton Jr. He and his colleagues who built the monster said that the computer became self aware and took form in a two-way projection machine on a tripod, the one that was in the Oval Office. They said that it could not be stopped, but we had a solution. We had the technology to create lifeless flesh. We molded this flesh into an image of Harry S. Truman.

After he won the election, he entered the Oval Office and we had no choice but to kill him. After his death, we presented our replica to the sentient computer, and it was pleased. For the next half-century, we put into place a system so that the sentient computer could rule as President under the guise of those elected by the populace. Every president you remember was nothing more than an empty suit for the computer to control.

The computer made copies of itself. It created a network with various forms, the most common being a modular configuration where the controlling object was a mere piece of glass with reflective film on a pedestal. Like itself, these new computers send commands to the shell president by reflecting a projected image of code onto themselves. The shell presidents are constantly programmed.

Well, the only reason it was ironic was because they were in front of him. While the huffington post tries to say that they were on, they don't provide much proof of that being so. (even contradicting themselves by noting that he had papers with him at the podium)

The American Enterprise Institute is a conservative thinktank. The Washington Times is another "conservative" publication. And the Investor's Business Daily article, from Real Clear Markets, is three months' old.
