This will be an anonymous poll. I just want to gauge how everyone wants news on marriage covered because I do not want to tread on the decorum or preferred customs of other members. So my question is:
Is it better to maintain one big thread such as JayHawk's, or multiple threads on each topic or state or country?
Vote and let's hear arguments on keeping everything in one thread. The obvious benefit to one thread is that it cuts down on the clutter. Not everyone shares the same enthusiasm as the hard core activists and it might seem annoying. At the height of activity this year there were at least a dozen threads on the main page covering just marriage equality. However, in one big thread it can be difficult to track specific issues, states, countries, bills, and cases when they are all lumped together. In multiple threads, every issue is individually cataloged for reference and the latest event on that topic is not buried under a page of discussion about other things.
Or does it not really matter?
