We had a wonderful and magical weekend with a small group of some family and some friends. The ceremony was quite beautiful, in a church and with a wedding party including grand nephew and nieces. We came home with new bling on our fingers but, more importantly, new bling in our hearts. I just know we will have nation-wide gay marriage in my lifetime.

We travel often, but haven't set up anything yet. We are planning a larger party at home with the stipulation of no gifts.

It's very powerful saying that I have a husband.

Good to hear all went well, and that both of you have very good memories towards this event. Once you were married and you had a wife, now you are married and you have a husband. Same-sex marriage will never be possible in all countries within the European Union.
 
Congratulations! It's been wonderful seeing so many loving couples finally able to marry.
