There are certainly a lot of open relationships these days... and, not surprisingly, there are also more divorces than ever before in history. And of course more cases of men bringing home STDs to their unsuspecting wives.

It seems when it comes down to it relationships are all about sex, sex, sex these days, especially amongst men. If they're gay they just want sex. If they're bi they just want sex. If they're in the closet or don't identify as either bi or gay they may want the pretty picture of a wife and kids but once the novelty of that has worn off they just want sex. Not with the wife of course, but with some man who'll give them attention.

It all makes me think men are just untrustworthy and not even worth putting any stock into. While some of the guys on this thread have said their wives know about their escapades, I'm certain there are many, many more men on this forum who sleep around with men without their wives' knowledge.

Maybe I should know the answer, but I can't say I do. What's the deal with married men who fool around casually with other guys? I can't figure it out. They are married to women, they often have kids, and yet they look for anonymous sex with other guys. Is it really as simple as closeted gay men who choose not to come out and instead live an apparently "hetero life", or is it more complicated than that?
