I felt the same way as you do. I was in denial for years (decades).

But at some point you have to say: Forget what society wants--what do I want?

That's not to say you should abandon your kids. You have a responsibility to them, just like any divorced straight dad. You'll just end up being a divorced gay dad.

Be true to yourself.
