Re: Mary J. Blige - Stronger with Each Tear

I have been a Huge Mary J. Blige fan since "You Remind Me" and "Real Love," but her last two albums are lacking something. It seems like they don't have the soul her older albums had. Even the way she is singing is different and I don't like it. They are altering her voice on a lot of songs I guess to make it sound more similar to the rest of the bullshit music that's out nowadays. Her voice is already beautiful in it's rawness so I don't know whey they do that.

I'm still gonna buy the new album even though I'm probably not gonna like this one either. Now some of the songs that are unreleased from Mary sound like the old Mary. I like those. I'm always gonna support her but I just hope she goes back to the old Mary. I think she is adjusting to the change in music. That and maybe she's too happy right now lol. She gave us the My Life album at a dark time in her life and that was her best one. It's working for her because she is selling albums like crazy still.

Have you ever seen her in concert EvilTwin2? I gotta see her one day!

Re: Mary J. Blige - Stronger with Each Tear

I love her music. Though I like her work over the years, especially Growing Pains, I constantly hear people want the "Sad Mary" back. LOL But I will be buying her new LP.

I can't wait for this! I love her so much!

Re: Mary J Blige's Whole New Album $3.99 on Amazon

Most likely will not top Susan Boyle, but let's see if she bests Alicia Keys' first week sales of 405,762.

Re: Mary J. Blige - Stronger with Each Tear

Im sure the album will be better than The One. A horrible track.

Maybe not her best, but along the lines of Janet Jackson's Make Me.

Susan Boyle Likely To Beat Mary J. Blige For No. 1 Album

She kept Alicia Keys' "The Element of Freedom" from topping the Billboard 200 this week, and now it's looking like Susan Boyle will block another diva -- Mary J. Blige -- from the No. 1 slot.

Industry sources suggest that Boyle's "I Dreamed a Dream" could sell another 500,000 by week's end on Sunday night (Dec. 27). That will be enough to fend off Blige's just-released "Stronger With Each Tear," which is on course to sell perhaps around 300,000 to 350,000 -- and possibly more. The queen of hip-hop/soul's last release, "Growing Pains," was released on Dec. 18, 2007 and bowed at No. 2 with 629,000. It moved to No. 1 the following week.

I plan on picking this one up soon. I've enjoyed most of her albums and don't see myself not enjoying Mary's new one.
