Looks like we had a major incident overnight, which appears to be the Boston Marathon bombing suspects once again. All I know was that there was a shooting and a carjacking in which explosives were used ... and a suspect is dead that seems to be the man with the dark hat from the Boston Marathon.

The man with the white hat is still at large.

Well it looks like they will likely satisfy the requirement of being fundamentalist Islamic terrorists.

"We believe this to be a terrorist," said Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis of the bombing suspect still at large. "We believe this to be a man who has come here to kill people. We need to get him in custody."

This statement tells me that the police and FBI know who they are dealing with and that these two are imported murderers.

From what is being said, it looks like these two are brothers who entered the country and have been living here for about a year. They allegedly began freaking out that they were identified as suspects ... therefore robbed a 7-11 for cash, then fled to MIT where they killed an officer ... which led to them carjacking a vehicle and having a shootout with police.

I guarantee that people who work in the Defense industry are thrilled about this.

As far as Obama, this is now a serious blemish on his record of no terrorist attacks inside the country since he was President. Although the people taking up for Bush on Twitter and thanking him for "keeping us safe" certainly have no room to talk.

DEVELOPING: The surviving Boston bomb suspect hails from Chechnya or Turkey and has lived in the United States for several years.
Federal law enforcement sources told Fox News that authorities are investigating whether Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev, 19, of Cambridge, Mass., and his brother may have had military training overseas.
A man with the same name won a $2,500 scholarship in 2011 from the city of Cambridge, according to online records.
The two men believed to be the suspects from Monday's terror attack apparently surfaced just hours after the FBI released their imaged late Thursday afternoon, shooting the police officer, robbing a convenience store, carjacking a man who later escaped and engaging in a wild shootout with Boston police, in which they hurled explosives from their stolen car.
"We believe this man to be a terrorist," said Boston Police Commissioner Ed Davis. "We believe this to be a man who's come here to kill people."
The bombings on Monday killed three people and injured more than 180 others.

Somewhere along the line though, the police and FBI figured out pretty quickly who they were looking for, before these two had been hunted down.

And of course...as I said at the beginning....now watch the Right wing Republicans make this purely about Obama's failure to have prevented these two brothers from having become legal residents of the US.

Not necessarily. What is wrong with speculating as a forum poster? It's a big difference speculating as law enforcement vs casual speculation while discussing current events.

I dunno, it just displays bias and ignorance so I don't think it is wise for someone to throw out ignorance but if your game, then I don't think there is a rule against it.

Honestly this example makes an excellent case for non-lethal stopping devices for law enforcement. Like the laser that causes a feeling like your skin burning or a sound wave that makes your subject unconscious....

Only reason i think this is because these cowards will go out quick and face NO consequence for having caused mass terror and hysteria in the US. I personally think isolation in solitary is a good start along with all the tools we used the last decade on these fucking animals. If your result is a life... an entire life of pain and suffering then the nutters will think twice before taking terrorist action.

These guys were homegrown 'sort of' and that is how they evaded the electronic net. What I dont understand is WHO on planet earth is so fucking stupid as to think they can do such an act without hiding or altering their appearance. How can the guy be a second year med student and not have that much of a clue?
