They're Russian and good looking brothers--one 27 one 19---their father (back in Russia) just said it can't be them they are so wonderful, etc ---and the high school friends of the 19 year old still alive and at large-- say he is a great guy. Expert also says younger brother may have been under influence of older brother. FBI expert says they had to be sorta smart to not get on anyone's radar as weirdo's. So many crazies out there.

I was struck by that as well. The dull moments have led to long shots of overweight cops lumbering up and down the street.
The other impression is seeing the news corp rushing around trying to get a scoop. To the point that they endanger themselves and hamper the law enforcement effort. How many cops have to keep these fucking morons back and down... tell you what, if I am covering a story and the cops say "get back... get back" while trying to find BOMBERS then i usually get the fuck back... lol

Yeah, I heard what the father said---guess they will be questioning him---his brother (the 2 guys uncle) was just on TV defending him and saying he worked hard to take care of his 2 "loser" sons and had nothing to do with them being bad. Guess all will be revealed eventually.

You don't know how close you are to some truth here. I retired from a Federal safety and health organization. Inspectors were required to meet rigorous physical requirements. Medical examinations, etc. That's to get hired. Not much else to stay on.
Can't tell you how many cases I had to settle because of disciplinary cases involving inspectors unable to meet the physical requirements. Some of these guys got so big they could no longer fit in the confined spaces they were required to inspect; some could not climb ladders as required. That meant they could not do the job they were hired to do.
But, they met the medical requirements when hired. When I retired, the Agency was still trying to resolve these medical requirements.

Yeah the military has been pushing tubby tubby's out the door for the last two decades that i have been there with a variety of standards for WHO was held accountable to those standards. Used to be that senior folks had some sort of shelter from those standards. Sad to say that was how decisions were made. I remember a Executive Officer at a commend who could barely fit in the hatch to the submarine, who aggressively sent enlisted folks home for being fat. It was a fucking massive miscarriage of justice. I would bet many of these law enforcement folks have time and tenure and usually fly a desk but in this situation are forced back onto the street.
We seem to have strayed quite a bit from the subject.
WHo thinks it is rather amazing that an entire large US city is currently under military law? I mean they are calling it shelter in place but it looks a lot like civil quasi military police forces roaming the streets. I dont disagree because it removes options for the evading dickhead.... Just find the idea amazing.
