I just saw this movie today and it blew me away. At first I was confused with Jonathan Rhys Meyers' acting, but then I realized he was supposed to be the super-nice guy with killer manners. There's often opera songs played in the film as well as opera scenes, which I think is a central theme; there are those intense parts that play out just like an opera. All the actors did an incredible job, but Scarlet Johanssen consistently amazes me; she really brings an amount of depth to a role that other actors wouldn't bring. She embodies a role in the same way Rachel McAdams breathes full-bodied, three-dimensional life into a role, no matter how large or small. Anyway, I just wanted to know if anyone else saw it and what did they think. Also, if you haven't seen it, make sure you see it! I hope Scarlet gets nominated for a best supporting actress award, but that's a longshot.

I saw it... in fact, it was my Number One film of 2005.

I hope Scarlet gets it for best supporting actress. I think the nominations already came out.

It was excellent. Totally different experience from other Woody Allen films.

I thought the movie was trite and laughable. I mean seriously, a "ghost" scene? Spooky

On the other hand, Emily Mortimer was absolutely fabulous and stole the show from Scarlett Johanssen.

I saw the movie and loved it. Different than the typical Woody Allen movies.

Jonathan Rhys Meyers is so hot. If nothing else just to look at him onscreen is worth watching this movie.

I saw it a dozen times and I find it fascinating!!!

I think it's Woody Allen's best film in almost two decades. "Crimes and misdemeanors" in 1989 was his last masterpiece until "Match Point" came out and even the score.

I was very surprised by this film. I felt it was kind of slow at first and I wasn't sure of the plot. I'm also not a huge Scarlet Johansson fan but I highly enjoyed the film.

it pissed me off that he got away with the murder.

It was great until the end. He should have gotten caught.
