Whereas his crime is reprehensible, I agree with his lawyer and the dissenting judge that the commerce context is wholly inapplicable, therefore making the law itself unconstitutional.

However, if he were not to be prosecuted in the US, I suspect he would have been in Kenya which would be far worse.

I wish there were a tidy "fix" for pedophilia, like sterilization or monitoring or something, but I'm unfamiliar with what works. Just so many people are hurt by it all the way around.

As far as the rapist looking attractive, I'm not inclined. He looks like two Italians, notably Lou Ferigno and maybe Marlon Brando had sex. The set of his eyes and nose look Italian.

After reading the article, this was my impression as well.

Also -- I can kind of see someone young making a false confession in a foreign country.
