You're basing this on what? How many adult companies have you worked for? How many conventions have you attended?

Now if an employee is getting barebacked and swallowing a load in the middle of a dance floor instead of private bedroom, then that is a blatant contradiction to the message the company asked him to record on the latest release.

If you saw your trainer smoking and drinking a beer, wouldn't you be inclined to go ask what that is about? Now your trainer is certified with fitness knowledge, and can possibly explain that a beer or two isn't going to hurt you. Is the guy doing porn a certified health expert and wants to raise public awareness?

I actually worked for and ran a cam site way back (1999/2000) when cam sites were in their infancy. From that I have also talked with a few recruiters. I also knew one of the photographers that would shoot for Playgirl. I've actually been to the erotic convention a couple of times in Miami, and from living in Fort Lauderdale, I've gotten to met and know a few guys that do work in the industry. So, yes, I have seen various levels of, or lack of, professionalism within the adult industry.

It's not really fair to blame the companies for the actions of the off-duty employees.

Yes... a lot of performers can be just as daft as the general gay public once they all get a few drinks in them.

What an individual does in his spare time can't really be blamed on the company that's gone to great lengths to protect him in a professional surrounding.

A. I really don't think any one "cherishes" porn stars.

B. I'm not sugar coating "being paid for sex." I have no problem saying that's what the man does. My issues is with the fact you seem to think their's an innate unstated assumption that being paid to have sex for money is... gasp.... a bad or somehow shameful thing. Why precisely? Because I don't think it's in any more lacking than a wide number of careers. I think what's more likely is that you just are in your little bubble of prestige and raised with the notion that porn is somehow degrading and lower and because you yourself never faced conflict based on that line of thought you've just never bothered to think about it and just assumed it was reality, you know much in the way a racist or homophobe just assumes that the homophobic or racist notions they grew up with are true.

This whole thing is for Confidential/Star Magazine. It should never of happened. If Matt had been sober (which he obviously is not) he would not have made the video. It puts the whole video in bad light, and I think it almost certainly assures Matt that he will not being doing the second scene with Zeb. Now it has become a matter of gossip, assumptions, etc. for every gay forum on the web.

There have been lots of other porn things happening that did not make press until to video was finished. This is going on even as they are doing the video.

Who wants to watch a scene with Matt and Zeb if you think Zeb's butt is unclean? Then there's the hot tub. What is in the water? Could be and bug that could easily have been ingested . Water on the skin, water on the ass, water on the schlong. There is no way that Matt could know that Zeb gave him a bug.

Matt was drunk and he made a horrible mistake. It is so out of whack now that no one can fix this.

For the record, and from me, I don't see Matthew Rush as washed up. He has been a great performer, since he started. He is still a great performer, still looks good, but comes off a little needy. To bad he may be writing his own porn star ending. I am sad about that because Matthew is actually a really great guy. He is friendly, has always been upfront with his fans and friends. Zeb Atlas did the Jake Cruise thing. He supposedly emailed Todd Montgomery at Falcon about it, but Todd told no one before he was slipped the pink slip. Matt was told he would be Zeb's first hardcore partner. He is happy about that because it is a great moment in porn. Then he finds out about the Jake Cruise thing and thinks he has been duped and rightfully feels cheated. Finally the news of the email comes about but not before Matt has made the blunder of blunders. Falcon themselves did not know of the email. Mr Montgomery neglected to tell them. And that little oversight has started this whole dramatic scenario. I feel sorry for Matt because I think he is probably very upset with himself.

I really can not believe the fact that people are knocking Mr. Rush for having an emotional reaction to a betrayal from a friend. (Did you even listen to what he said?... Zeb Atlas promised that the scene he was to do with Matt would be his first "gay" scene than after assuring his best friend Matt, went behind his back and for no other reason than $10,000 ((normal rate for a site scene is $1,500 to $4,000)) did the scene with Jake Cruise) He is right in saying he is human like everyone of us, yet some people who I guess feel the need to make themselves feel better about themselves by critizing and making fun of Matt Rush for being able to be hurt feel the need to open the windows of their glass houses and throw stones...What's next throwing stones at puppies and kittens?

First off Hugh Heffner is a straight man in a straight society so your comparison is invalid. Unfortunately we still live in a society that very much still hates anything that has to do with gay people...Hate crimes against GLBT people are still happening and show no sign of slowing down. And we are mocked and made fun of not only by commedians but by the current administration and their proponents. And advances we have made in legislative bodies fostering gay liberties are being overturned as we fight on trying make the public realize that gay rights are human rights.

There's an old saying and its probably an old saying because it has merit..."People do not notice 1000 people doing the right thing, they only notice that one person who is doing the wrong thing". So for you to say that one person can not sway people's opinion is outright laughable. Look at the media and how they overplay every single thing and every issue. do I need to mention Larry Craig the Senator from Idaho or George Michael's bathroom mishap? etc....etc...Do I really need to go on?
