McDonald's employee thinks dwarfs are as scary as snakes

I can kind of relate. I watched Leprechaun when I was 4 and Warwick Davis has scared me ever since.

He should have gone to...

He might have to dance for his food though.

I totally agree that the employee's reaction was inappropriate given the venue. The man effected has every right to be upset, offended, etc. That said, just because you've never seen or heard of someone freaking out at the sight of a little person does not mean it doesn't happen. You've probably never seen someone absolutely flip the fuck out (unbelievably so) at the sight or even thought of a common slug either, but I've done so on several occasions. Phobias are increibly powerful. Irrational, yes, but oh so debilitating. Humans are flawed and while we can fix many of these flaws, others will exist forever.

*proceeds to flip the fuck out after having typed the word slug.............twice* :help:

Agreed. :)

I think slugs are cute, although I wouldn't want one crawling around in bed with me while I was asleep, since I'd probably squash him and get slug juice on my sheets. My big phobia is a poisonous spider crawling into my mouth while I'm asleep and biting my throat, causing it to swell up. As then I'd wake up in a panic choking to death. I've thought about taping my mouth shut with duct tape each night, but I figured that with my luck a spider would just crawl up my nose and kill me anyway.
