Sorry, but McCain's insane, snotty, hate filled logic has had it's day. McSame needs to shut the fuck up, get out of the way, and/or die. He and his ilk have ruined thousands of lives of people wanting to serve the USA via her military. McLame needs to be sent back to a Vietnamese prison in my opinion to relearn a few lessons he failed to remember the first time around. The disgusting thing is I once actually respected this man, and even in fact considered voting for him if he had made it to the 2000 Presidential nomination.

Then McScum sold his soul to the devil, (aka... The Bushies) and has been a wart on society since.

However, this latest stance makes him look old, and needing to die from being outdated. He always said he put "country first". What a fucking liar. I honestly think he's lost his marbles, and should be impeached for being unfit for office.

McCain is an absolute bigot. Of a Republican Senate that's been mostly silent on the issue, McCain has gone out of his way to bash, insult, and scream against the gay men and women in our military who serve and protect us.

This fallen war hero has betrayed and shamed the uniform he wore. To think, some of you voted for this despicable man instead of Obama in '08. It isn't just the "gay issue," it's the principle that of all the politicians in that Senate who should understand and show compassion to the lives DADT has destroyed, it should be McCain. Instead, he's the very who is spitting on the faces of his fellow brothers and sisters in uniform.

I think JMc wanted to stay a Senator apparently more than he wanted to remain principled

Boston is correct EXCEPT for the idea that political expedience is a Republican only thing

plenty of dems abandoned pres Obama in the midterms in order to try to stay in power

Some did successfully - Joe Manchin comes to mind

McCains flip on immigration and his championing of the non repeal of DADT is particularly galling as frankly i don't see what he stands to
gain other than the loss of respect from independent voters who once viewed him as progressive
 
McCain blamed politics for pushing the matter forward during wartime, and he predicted soldiers and Marines would quit in droves if they had to serve next to gays open about their sexual orientation.

You've been in the Senate since 1995, and other than the McCain-Feingold Bill, what have got to show for these years?

I was watching Adm. Mike Mullen, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff give his testimony, and while that was taking place the camera panned over so that I could see you grimacing. I could just feel the hate. You make me want to puke.
