Even an encounter with the most insignificant insect, let alone a human, means something.

I'm going to admit: I've done it, and I've done it more than once.

Just be careful though, because their stats and pictures aren't always accurate in describing who they truly are. In bars you get to talk to and interact with them in person..it's not the case with hook up sites.

I've had some good experiences, and some bad ones that I just wanna forget already.

It can be a fun experience if you're being honest and selective about the guys you wanna get together with. Hope it helps.

just don't let them directly come to your house. meet them outside somewhere with people around and lead them to your flat. that's a bit of protection against psychos, and also you can back out if you caught a liar/faker.
that being said judging from your posts .. you probably like the thought but won't go through with it because your own expectations for "encounters" are higher, yet your body wants to have some quick fun

Thanks Mini, I don't know that I could actually do it though. In theory it's fine but in reality I don't know that I'd actually follow through. I think I'll just watch Avatar and Hairspray instead

Yeah, I get that sometimes. I still hesitate whenever I'm doing hook ups through sites, maybe it's becuase I get nervous easily, haha.

I think it can be a psychological thing with some people..thinking that you have your own place (not too often!) and it would be a waste not to have some quick, hot fun.

And who knows? the guy who turns up half an hour later might just be awesome in bed!

Err...at least that's what my mind persuades me when I do decide to do a hook up. But hey, a good movie is always better in my opinion, afterall I tend to feel quite empty after a hookup, unless the guy was truly amazing and I just have to get some sleep due to the exhaustion.

Very true. I consider myself very lucky in that all the guys I've met were normal, and not some mental creeps/weirdos/people who stab you for money etc.

Just be careful about your choices

a meaningless, nsa hookup can be fun. it scratches an itch more than anything else.

be safe. like corny suggested meet up in public first to get an idea if the guy is cool or a nutter. if you two click than lead him home.

also, be upfront with each other about what you want. spell out any likes/dislikes and what you are or are not willing to do. this makes it easier when it comes to expectations.

and of course, play safe.
