The quality isn't the best, but the album rawkzors!

I absolutely love "Blind As A Bat" and "It's All Coming Back To Me Now".

Agreed! I'm a huge Meat Loaf fan and I've been waiting for this album for a long time. I've heard it all in good quality and there are some amazing tracks on there; "The Monster Is Loose", "Blind As A Bat", "Seize The Night" and "The Future Ain't What It Used To Be" are particular favourites.

Be warned though, some of the stuff isn't what you'd necessarily expect from Meat Loaf...

I just wanted to pre-order it on Amazon, but they don't have it yet.

COOL! Loved Meat Loaf since I don't know when! :) Thanks Crashdown for the info! It's going to be a good Halloween after all! :D

Big meatloaf fan!I will buy it asap.
Thanks for the heads up

Wonder why Jim Steinman is up to it to produce the album? Seems like a website cited his health problem. Hopefully he is ok.

Definitely looking forward to this sequel - but won't he put himself in for a comparison - is his version of 'It's All Coming Back To Me Now' any better than Celine Dion's or Pandora Box's?

You know who I really miss? Another Bonnie Tyler hit/song from Jim Steinman.

Thanks, Paul. One thing that I enjoy from new releases of Jim's songs is that I love the MTVs too - dark and haunting. Collected almost all from Bonnie Tyler's Total Eclipse of the Heart until now. Good video.

They are planning to credit the female artist in this song too, right?

So what do you think of the album?

I am on my first listen now - it's quite good - different to Bat 1 and 2, but with common themes and guitar hooks from each album. Nice to hear Brian May doing the guitar on Bad for Good.

I think I will need a few more listens to get a proper opinion of it though.

Wouldn't it be boring if everyone liked the same stuff? I think it's great that there is so much diversity in musical tastes.

diversity in music stopped decades ago.

now it's the same crap over and over.

that's why meatloaf can make the same album over and over again.

i recently rediscovered patti smith. i hope you enjoy this

I would do anything for Meat (but I wont buy this).

It's NOT a bat album, just another Meat Loaf album with the Bat 3 title to help it sell. Unless the album was WRITTEN and produced entirely by Jim Steinman, it doesn't count. Pity Steinman didnt continue the lawsuit and get the name changed...

the only meatloaf song i know or have seen the video to (and i remember having to see it over and over and over  ) was that i would do anything for love thing. ;) art work is cool though!

It's All Coming Back To Me Now is already a Top 10 in UK now. I like an alternative singing to Celine's version. I just happen to appreciate both.

But at least it has some Steinman tracks on it. Its a lot better that Meat Loaf's last effort (Couldn't Have Said It Better) which was comletely Steinman-less...

I know, and CHSIB was crap, but 'Welcome to the Neighbourhood' and 'Bad Attitude' had some Steinman songs on them, and nobody tried to call them Bat albums...

I just think its a shameless marketing ploy and sours the other 2.
