Hi guys - Since I am not the techie person that hopefully some of you are - I need some guidance. I upgraded to Media Player 11 last weekend and since that time, Sean Cody.com videos will not play for me. I get an error message that a security upgrade is needed. I have reloaded MP11, looked for upgrades, completed my microsoft updates, etc - all to no avail. Any other thoughts? Thanks!

I noticed on Jake Cruise's site, he said there was a problem with his vids if you were using Media Player 11 and IE 7. They were working on a solution.

uninstall it if you can and don't upgrade to it or any other version. well ok that's just my opinion. but the more MS shoves copy write protection (i.e., DRM) down our throats the more we should refuse it. i've heard many folks have had trouble with MP 11. i've heard some can't uninstall it, but if you can i would.

Thanks guys!

I have tried to go back and install version 10 again and it keeps reverting to MP 11. But I will try to remove MP11 then reinstall.

Am I the only person in this world that hasn't had problems with Windows Media Player 11? It runs smoothly on my system, it rips faster than any other Media Player out there, the interface is a lot more easy to use. It doesn't eat up a lot of memory. I have the final release and it works perfectly.

Had the same problem with Corbin Fisher. ALL YOU NEED TO DO Is Uninstall Windows Media Player 11 and go back to an older version. I forget how to do this but if you email Sean Cody their team will be more than happy to help you.

I'm starting to have problems with MP11 also. The past couple of days some of my videos (avi, wma, etc.) will play wth the picture up-side-down, but not all. Others only play the audio. Should I uninstall and reload or is there a quicker fix. The program had been working fine for the past month until the last couple of days. Thank you for any help you can offer.

I think that wmp11 is a load of bull. I installed it a couple of weeks ago, took almost half a day to figure out how to operate it, got so confused and decided to uninstall it. The interface is so difference and so hard to use compared to wmp10. Like many people out there who are not computer junkies, i recommend you dont upgrade to 11. Unless you want to be frustrated.

Working like a charm for me. No problems whatsoever and I don't browse porn sites anyway, so I wouldn't know of an issue there if it existed.

Think what you will but I have no reason to lie about such a thing. I think porn is way over-rated. The closest I usually get to browsing a porn site is JUB..........and I would NEVER NEVER pay for porn, it's a waste of money. Of course, I am not saying that I've never been to porn sites, I'm saying that currently I have no use for them.

bleh, the first thing I did when I got my PC was uninstall Itinerant Explorer, Media Player and MSN messenger, and I substituted them for Firefox, Winamp & VLC, and Miranda. If one application is giving you trouble, try another.
