Hey everybody!
I'm a muslim too.I'm a newbie in that forum.I study American culture & literature in a faculty outside the U.S.We learn so much about Christianity as a part of our studies.
Firstly, i believe that punishing the gays has nothing to do with religious beliefs because even an atheist person who is heterosexual could kill or offense you if you offered him sexual relationship.And, while muslims claim that it is God's order that they should kill the gay means nothing to me because if they take killing the gay as a deed they should worry about practising other deeds before that.Islam orders you to treat people kindly until they attack you.So, i don't see any reason for their attacking us since we don't attack their lives or anything else.I think it has more to do with basic human instincts or should i have said 'basic male instincts'.They just see us as a threat for humankind.
And i don't believe that those terrorists really are muslims because Islam bans killing himself for any reason at all.Life is given by God and should be taken by God's will.Otherwise it shows that you love to play God.And that excommunicates you from Islam.
Please excuse my mistakes if i have any at my spelling.I'm just so excited to write in such a forum like that.

Whilst there are probably a lot of bigots in that forum, it is not limited to Europe. Islamophobia is rampant in the US too.

As a roman catholic , (of Italian descendant)i have so many muslim friends and i really like 'em....since i was born and raised in a muslim country (Turkey,Istanbul) my parents run a family business there ..
i really hate all those fukin idiots who think all the muslims are terrorists or mean people..it has nothing to do with the religion..
If you are against Islam,you should also condemn Christianity and Judaism,as they r all Abrahamic religions and worshipping the same God...
First of all,you should learn about (and read) the holy scriptures and the facts of a faith/belief to judge..whether it's good or bad..

Don't be cowed into thinking that Islam stands alone in this forum as being pilloried.
Anyone who thinks that, likely is unable to count.
Christianity is roundly vilified continuously in Hot Topics, CE&P, Twinks, Sports, this forum--any section, really.
If we were to keep score, it would "win" by margins unimagined.
But no complaints here. That is par for the course on any gay board.
I no longer get too offended anymore.

As a gay Roman Catholic I know how it feels to have religious leaders that are homophobic. I have actually considered converting to Islam, because the most accepting person of my sexuality is my best friend Amani, a Muslim girl of Palestinian decent. She has made me feel more comfortable about mself than ANY Christain ever has, and is the only one who has become closer to me since I came out to my friends last year.
If you (or any other Muslim on here) wouldn't mind sharing your religion with me, I'd be glad to learn more about it.
