Straight people have been doing this for years BTW...and the Mormons celebrate it...and my opinion is the same as it is for gay people....I don't care...and none of my business. As long as consenting adults are involved...I don't give a rat's ass if 50 people want to get married....that is kinda what happened in some communes in the 60s and 70s and this guy I know who is now in his 80s...he STILL lives in a commune and everything is done for the group...kinda cool concept actually....

We are all on this planet for a short time so why anyone worries about who other people....assuming they are consenting adults... fuck or love.... when it has no effect at all on them.... is beyond me....

Polygamous marriages are illegal in the United states whether gay or straight.

Straight people usually get frowned down on for having polygamous relationships or sleeping around while being in relationships even if they're swingers. So you saying that straight people can do the same thing without being stigmatized doesn't make sense. That is NOT true. Nonmonogamous relationships are frowned down upon period. I think this is an instance of not being aware of the ways of the world. Why do you think people are still anticipating will and Jada's divorce?

I do think it's ridiculous that lgbt people are basically being used as a vehicle for other people who have different sexual norms whether it's good or bad to try to push their own agenda. It's like they're saying something about us. You even got the child molesters and animal rapists trying to use as an example for them to be able to do what they do legal. Think we should be real careful in terms of trying to make gay a poster child for sexual liberation. That just only makes us stereotypes as us being sexual deviants.

It's easier to just say "Okay, let's think of the children and answer the question!"

And I'd say it is not clear to me at all how any kids would be at greater risk than in a more conventional family.

I think it's because some of us, even some of us gays, think that marriage is a faithful single relationship between 2 people. If not, before we know it, it will be acceptable to bring up a kid with 4 fathers. He/she will end up living with 4 different people, every fourth week, once the whole thing breaks up. And then each father will have conflicting ideas on how to raise the kid. The kid will end up bewildered and confused, without proper roll models, and possibly in some sort of institution.
