Justjoshoh, thanks for the link. But to be quite honest it looks more like a frat then a support group, to me. By support group, I was thinking more along the lines of pflag. A group like the mu crew sounds like a lot of fun. But I'll check out what we've got here.
3nipples, going to Detroit is definitely an option that I'm open to. Going skiing on weekends is something I'm up for, but travelling to Detroit for an hour or two (to play tennis, v-ball, etc.) just doesn't seem worth it, imo. But trying to get guys to sign up for a team of some sort sounds like a good idea.
jockboy01, Traffic and money aren't the worst part, it's the waiting in a line-up to get through customs. Then there's the always the chance that I'll get pulled over and have my car searched and that's just a hassle I don't care to deal with regularly. As for going to the bar at off-peak times, that's something I'm considering. I still don't like the idea of going alone, but under the circumtances, it's something that has to be done.
drhladnjak, I know nothing of Detroit's nightlife. I've only known a few people to have gone over to Detroit for a night out. I'll have to look into that, though.
