How can you compare Sanjaya with Melinda? Anyway, as a fellow jubber well said, America had its head up its ass with the voting.
 
I know, it sucks bad. However, someone in the American Idol topic said that she wouldn't be very marketable and that may be true. I don't even know what a CD from Melinda would sound like. But I still wanted her to win!

I also voted for her last night.
 
Not to be rude, but I am on the west coast here and I'm browsing this site waiting for the results show as its not on yet and you have come on here and told the results without any spoiler warning!

I know that results are posted from the east coast etc... and I'm careful not to go to sites that might reveal it before I watch it but cmon!

It's not that you can't discuss it, I completely understand people want to discuss the results, but at least don't spoil it right in the title thread!
 
i purposely avoided coming on here because i figured some douchebag was going to spoil it by making a totally obvious post about it.

anyway, i was surprised. i didn't really like her or want her to win but i was expecting her to be in the finals. i wasn't sure if blake or jordin would be joining her. but i guess i was way off.
 
Maybe we all want that shy girl who was often at the background, to step in front and win. U know - that Cinderella story.

But now, it's fucked up.

It's like re-electing George Bush deja vu all over again. Can't they get it right?

It's gonna be one god awful finale! I really wanted Melinda in there! I wanted to see her crowned. It's like you go to a chinese food restaurant, and you've been on a diet for like 3 months. And just when you are about to order that big heaping plate of General Tso's Chicken, you find out it's vegetarian only. Not the worst thing that could happen, but still not what you wanted!
 
I wonder just how accurate the voting is. Because from the very beginning, even where there were like 16 or 20 left. There was some board that posted the finale will be Jordin versus Blake and now that it is. I thought it was funny that they posted about it so soon when the Top 12 wasn't even announced. I wonder if there is rigging to some extent involved. I know that the people who claim that they vote these ungodly amounts each time aren't doing much good. These massive voting blocks from like one phone lines are disposed of to get a supposedly more accurate measure of whom America likes. I don't believe it. There has been too many screwy concidences and good people sent home.
 
Well, I am not watching the bloody finale. I dun think I want to watch anymore AI. Wasted all my weeks of trying to follow the show.
