Can't say I've ever done that, or felt the need to.

I do understand what you mean though, trying to find small sizes and only coming across clothes for seemingly huge men. I'm 5 10", but annoyingly thin so it's all small and medium sized shirts for me, which tends to have a way smaller selection of items compared to all the larges and XXL's around.

Some of the jeans I've found are somewhat comfortable and snug, especially around the leg area, which is important to me, whereas, some are way too tight around the crotch. Occasionally, I can find a shirt that is flattering and snug around my midsection. Unfortunately, the shirts usually tend to look too feminine for me(imagine that) and too small for my arms.

women's jeans can sometimes be tight in the leg but also be loose in the butt - women's butts are more triangle shaped - so maybe bring a 'girlfriend' with you to make sure the butt looks right on you.. and i have the same problem with cute t-shirts - when i find one that fits my waist then it's too small under the arms (and/or the cap-sleeves can look too femme) - so i finally just got a cheap little sewing machine, and now i just buy a size up and then zip it thru the machine..

why do you buy women's jeans to begin with?

i thought the original post was clear enough on that subject.. we're not talking about sequin evening gowns - we're talking about a fashionable pair of jeans that fits. judging by your avatar i'm guessing that's probably not a big concern for you..

I frequently get nasty looks from females in women's clothing stores, but that's allright cuz we all know I look better in women's clothes then most women do.

I tried mom's clothes when I was like ten or so and found it quite nice and erotic, especially panty hoses. However, I never continued that way and nowadays they would lokk quite ridiculous on me.

I don't wear women's clothing, but I am inspired, sometimes by a certain look that I see a woman pull off and try to create the male equivalent using mens' clothing.

A perfect example would be that black on black Audrey Hepburn sporty ensemble from "Funny Face," and popularized a few years ago in Gap ads.

I created my own black on black look with a tight black stretch-lycra top and black pants with black boots. With my shaven head, It went over extremely well in the clubs and I got lots of compliments.

Not really, no. I have found clothes at a woman's store that I liked and bought, but I doubt anyone would've seen me in a grey "Furball" sweatshirt and wondered why I was wearing women's clothes...

lol.. you said "no", and then proceeded to AGREE with the entire point of the o/p. does anyone actually READ the original post beyond the title of a thread anymore?

holy shit! how things change. i didn't realize that to be "fashionable" you have to wear women's clothes.

relax, karen. don't get your panties in a knot.

Actually, I didn't agree with the entire point of the op at all. He in fact is more or less FORCED to buy women's clothes due to his body build. That's not the case with me. "Regular" men's clothes fit me just fine. The only times I've purchased and worn women's clothes is when I saw something I liked. This seemed like sufficient grounds for a "not really, no".

But hey, I'm more than willing to play an idiot noob who doesn't read anything more than the thread title if it makes you feel better about yourself.

At H&M in Europe, everything is unisex anyway :bartshock

ok, i didn't think the point was asking about being FORCED to wear women's clothes 24 hours a day, but i get your point now..

Uhmmm, never. Ever. Ever. Ever. I would find a tailor - wherever it is you live, and have them take in the mens clothing.

No, I don't mean for drag, just in a general sense. I'm a small guy so men's clothes tend to be too long(most are designed for taller guys, 5'10"+) and too baggy.

Occasionally, I can find a shirt that is flattering and snug around my midsection. Unfortunately, the shirts usually tend to look too feminine for me(imagine that) and too small for my arms. Sometimes, I'll spot a good find, like an XS vest or shirt, usually from American Eagle(initially, anyway) or some graphic tees from the boy's department of an outlet store.

As a man, I'd love to be just be able to find regular clothes that are made for men and not women or children. However, at the same time, I feel kind of fortunate that I'm forced to fashionably compromise. At least, my shopping experience is always interesting. :)

Wow, you're like my brother from another mother. Glad to hear I'm not the only one here who has the same clothing issue. 50% of my wardrobe are "female" clothing, mostly jeans and jackets.

You pretty much said it all.
I'm 5'6", size XS men top, 28 men pants, size 3 (junior, haha) and 4 (womens) pants. Ya, people think I'm 16 years old....

You're right about the crotch area, for obvious reason...girls don't have dicks so they don't need the extra area, however, the fit on the ass is great *wink*. Also the leg length can be tricky because there are some pants made to work with high heels.

Also it's funny with the American Eagle XS shirts, I turn into a monster when I spot a bunch because they're pretty rare. >.<

It's definitely tricky to pick clothes to fit us. My trick is just to mix female and male clothing. Male top (XS or S shirts) + Female Pants (unisex). Otherwise if I go all female, I'll look hot but like a chick or a drag princess and if I go all male, I'll look like a little boy trying to wear grown man's clothing.

Maybe I should just start my own clothing line.

No. Women's clothes tend not to fit me. The trousers leave too little room for Little Harke. Also the sweaters and stuff tend to be so silly these days that I can't imagine I'd ever buy one.

I did have a ladies coat at one point when I was homeless in Madrid. The darned thing was shaped for the female body and I hated it.

I'm 6ft1 and wear a size 11 shoe. I dont think I'd like to see womans clothes in my size, lol.

nope. i dont like tight clothing unless its a t-shirt, and only on occasion.

Same boat - 6'2" and a size 13 shoe. It is hard to find a size 13 mens shoe - let alone a nice pair of pumps in a mens 13.
