For gods sake. there are men out there eating each others poop, and we are worried about brothers having sex??????

who are we to judge anyone?

How about their both wrong? Are you that morally bankrupt? Any moral discernment, any of you guys? Just wrong. Why even go there?

omg.

i cant believe this thread was made.

don't even get me fucking started.

ok... here i go *inhales*

now, personally, i have never done it with my brother or want to, but i still believe that it's ok for people to do that.

YOU only THINK it's taboo because SOCIETY has taught you that it's wrong.

personally, I'm shocked that a gay man would say something was immoral or wrong when we have millions of people that say and think being gay is way worse.

after all the ridicule we go through as gay men, i'm shocked you could say something was immoral.

theres people that say homosexuality is just as bad as rape or child molestation, yet look to persecute something SOCIETY, NOT God, has taught you is wrong.

chew on that. get back to me.

Spare me the no morals cause were gay bullshit. So you think we gays have no right to judge because we are already immoral? Please. I am moral, have discernment, and do not believe everything sexual is ok. I am intelligent, spiritual, sensitive, can judge soundly. Not everything is ok because we like something.

I'm just going to put in my two cents. Take it for what it's worth.

Americans, in general, (as I cannot speak for other countries, I will not include them) are too nosy. Who's business is it if two brothers consent to have sex? Who's business is it if a really skinny man and a really fat man consent to have sex? We see crazy mixtures that we judge far too often. When girls are getting pregnant at thirteen, our sense of morals, nationally, is slipping, our spiritualness is spiraling downward and our sense of neighborhood and friendliness is dwindling, the least we have to worry about is what two people of any scenario are doing behind closed doors.

Our poverty rates are up, our orphanges are full, our money for social security is running out, our schools are run down and overrun, and we go about judging others before we stop and consider that we each have an obligation to reevaluate our own lives before we can even begin to judge others.

What's up with that? Even I find myself judging couples and individuals alike, but that doesn't make it right.

This should be the real issue behind this post--what gives us the authority to judge any life but our own?
The authority? Conscience, moral conscience, that's what. Homosexuality and incest are not the same thing.

I've fantasized about if I had a brother before. I don't have a brother tho, and I might find it disturbing if I did, but at the same time, living with another guy, I would be jacking off thinking about him whether I would actually go all the way or not.

There is an evolutionary purpose to us being repulsed at the thought of reproducing with our siblings, which has already been pointed out. Straight or gay, if we regularly committed incest, we would be some nasty inbred mess of a species.
That seems logical, except that you are using it against the idea of two brothers (male on male intercourse) and I have yet to hear about that actually producing a child. Your whole point seems to be about inbreeding (which we all agree is a problem), but that is NOT what is being considered.

I am shocked. It's OK to commit incest if you won't produce a child. Whats next? Pedophilia is OK because no on can get pregnant therefore there are no repercussions??? Such flawed logic.
If you are going to compare these two, you might as well say homosexuality and pedophilia are the same.

Your logic is flawed. Your sanity is questionable.

My brother is 18 months older than me, and we have been having sex together since I was about 17. Started off with wanking together, then giving each other hand/blowjobs and then progressed to fullon anal intercourse. He usually tops me, and I love to bottom for him. He is really good looking, nice body and big dick and he really turns me on.

I am 30 now, and he is married, but we still meet up about once a month so he can fuck me, and get his dick sucked since his wife wont do anal/oral.I also trust him completely (as he is my bro!) so we can try anything sexually together.

We also have a great relationship away from the sex side of things, I love his wife and kids and being part of the family.

Have never told anyone about this before, but we have a totally hot time together, and its all consenual, so why is it wrong?

I don't see anything wrong with it. But if we follow fluxflux's logic, you or your brother could end up with inbred children because of it. Not to mention (again according to fluxflux) your desire for your brother means you will force yourself onto his children as his desire for you will force himself on your chi... wait, you don't have any children do you?

Yeah, sounds quite stupid. But that's fluxflux's argument. Whatever.

just seems far too judgemental to my eyes; we are doing what we do in private, doesnt harm anyone and we get pleasure from it...nothing would stop us hooking up!

Like I said, I don't have a problem with it. You have both consented and, as both of you are male, there is no chance of children being born, therefore no birth defects. And I know that homosexuality does not equal pedophilia. I was just trying to figure out how the person I quoted earlier came by his opinion by testing it against the facts.

But you used a far more polite term than I use for it in my mind. I just call it idiocy.

This is really great that you can have a healthy physical and emotional relationship with your brother. In my opinion that would be the best, and the physical affirming the emotional love and trust you share. Thanks for sharing here.

In my opinion a lot of the negative comments about brothers having sex reflects a level of existing dysfunction with the family dynamic. If your family is sexually repressive and brothers don't even like each other, anyway, the guilt and shame and distrust would only be compounded by sex.

I wonder about the romantic aspect of it. Jerkin with your bro or even fuckin around for the physical release is hot. What if you develop a romantic interest and things head south in that department.....one gets married, starts dating girls or guys for sex, etc. For me that would be the risk, I guess. Some family relationships are already tenuous, but throwing sex and/or romance into the mix could really escalate things good or bad. If that fucks up, then you're not only out of a fb or bf, but potentially a family as well.

its never been about romance for us, just mutual sexual release and a feeling of closeness in our relationship. am totally happy for his relationship with his wife, who i love as a close friend too. he is fine when i am with a guy too, although he ribs me about not wanting to fuck my ass too soon after another dude.

"although he ribs me about not wanting to fuck my ass too soon after another dude"

Lets any STDs come to fruition.

Even when brothers and sisters have children together, there is very little risk of genetic problems unless the problems are already present in both brother and sister. People think that incest "creates" genetic problems, but that is impossible and shows a lack of understanding of human reproduction.

When two people have a child, the child gets 50% of its genetic material from the mother and 50% from the father. If both the mother and the father have the same predisposition to a certain disorder or disease, the child has a much higher chance of having that disorder or disease because it is already present, NOT because incest in and of itself "creates" genetic problems.

But if both the mother and the father are healthy, the child has a much higher chance of being healthy. This is true whether the parents are related or not. If the parents are related, creating a child "doubles up" on the shared genes that are already there, but that cannot "create" problems out of thin air. It will only magnify any problems that are there, but it also magnifies any good qualities which are there.

This is one of the reason royal families are often so inbred (usually cousin-marriages and half-sibling marriages) and so long-lived and healthy. There are other reasons too (such as access to healthcare) but this one shouldn't be underestimated. Royals have practiced incest in varying forms for centuries. This is where the phrases for "cousin," "first cousin," "second cousin," and so on come from (I have a degree in linguistics). The royals recognized the benefits of inbreeding carefully.

Hey everyone. Check out Jirka and Zdeno Kalejak at William Higgins and Lukas and Jaroslav Bares too, two sets of brothers going at it.

So, soooooooooooo right. Anyone who honestly thinks that incest creates genetic problems likely failed/fell asleep during biology.
Also, this is sort of relevant:

You're assuming they had biology class in the first place. Only a very small percent of the world's population is privileged enough to go to school. I come from a country (Suriname) where the majority of people would have no idea about this topic because they are not educated.

It's a shame when educated people from the United States (who presumably had biology class) are still ignorant and don't know the mechanisms by which human reproduction works.
